I think it would be best to keep him, add him to the league at least and try and get Naughton out on loan to a PL side.

Smith (as long as AVB and co think he is good enough) would then be used as cover and get some game time when he needs to cover/rotate

Its a shame he cant play against Anji though, a game where we will throw some of the youngsters into if AVB still sands by what he said.

I want to play him, at least in a couple of games. Walker needs rest too, and I rate Smith above Naughton. Fits the system better, as well.
