So glad we've got a world class striker up front for us now. Going to make such a difference.

The classic anti-Arsenal celebration, in documentary style:

The classic moment moment when Ade's phone goes off during BBC World Cup Coverage:

....and the explanation why it went off weeks later:

I REALLY hope he's with us next season. The only way we're gonna keep him, is by rocking the whole of WHL, by chanting his name, making him feel appreciated and loved for once..... and giving him the support he's never had.

I'm a firm believer that'd he take a pay cut, force a move to us - if he was finally loved and settled at a club. After what happened with him with Togo, he's earned enough money to last him a life time....I think he's endured so much and he's ready to settle somewhere. We can make him feel welcome!!!

Thoughts fellow Yids?

I'd love it if we signed him. Not too confident though.

If we don't do that well Adebayor might not want to sign. If we do too well Man City might not want him to join us.

So much can happen between now and next summer. I'm just happy we've got him for this season at least.

The love affair will end unfortunately, but we should enjoy it while it's here.

I really feel he'll throw his toys out the pram eventually

I think he shows us all what we've been missing for many years - a forward that has the strength to hold the ball up. He brings much more, but primarily I feel that is his main attribute.

Not scored in his last 2 games - the next Pavlyuchenko.

Hehe! Yeah, He's certainly a cut above everyone else we've had since Berba. But fuck, if we don't invest in January we could be right back to square 1 by Summer when he inevitably leaves.

The most important thing to come out of this loan is results of course BUT after that it's coming out of it knowing what type of striker we want to actually go out and buy. Ade looks to me as if it's working, i want to see us use him as the loan most forward striker for a run of games but so far so good.

Who can do what Ade can do in world football that could come to us? i guess there are two lists. CL and non-CL

Look at it his way...if he wasn't playing with us where would he be?

- Real Madrid weren't keen and can hardly see Barca interested
- He's burnt his bridges at Man City and Ars*nal
- Doubt Utd or Chelsea have room for him
- Liverpool have already got one target man on big wages

That maybe leaves one of the other Eurpoean leagues (Italy or Germany maybe?)

I have the feeling that we are a very good match for him. He enjoys the Premiership, likes playing regularly and he wants to be liked. All depends on whether City would sell and if we can afford him.

Also have to remember that he'll bugger off to the African Cup of Nations every other year which would make a back-up plan even more important.

he looked a right prick doing that celebration, thankfully he regrets it and will never do it again

It would seem remiss of Levy not to have some level of option in there - which would not be his style.

After all, he's no Frasier "hey baby I hear the blues a-callin'" Campbell. Thank God.

I am glad we don't have an option to sign him, and by the end of this season I predict so will most other Tottenham fans.

A loan is perfect for us because he always starts well with a new team and then disappears.

agree with this - just need him to hold it together and score as many goals as he can until January when we bring in Leandro or ???

Didn't one of the more reliable itk's say that we didn't have an option to buy?

I could be wrong. It happens at least once every two years.

One of the reliable ITK's said that we have a 12m option to buy. That is why the loan deal took so long to finalise.
