What the fuck has happened to this site? I've just spent ages typing something out for nothing. Rob, great website, don't over complicate it though

I think your

I don't really understand what you are finding so hilarious. You don't think an on form Adebayor is a good player ? We all know and accept he doesn't always show that. Dawson & Walker's by contrast show great attitude always, but will never have Adebayor's natural ability, even in relation to their own positions.

Walker I rate as a fb more than I have ever rated Dawson/CB. So lets not tar him with the same brush, but Dawson is a great example of the flipside of your coin, all effort and little ability is also pointless.

What is so hilarious about that ? Do you disagree with those statements or just don't like like them ?

Surprised by the reaction on here.

There are things that are more important than one player's ability. Everyone loved seeing how together our squad was last season and the atmosphere looked great yet people still want Ade brought back in when he spent last season being a disruption, not trying and racking up fines. Even in the summer he was telling AVB that he had loads of clubs interested in him but once he was told he could leave all of a sudden it was only a couple of Turkish sides interested and the move never materialised.

Fuck him. I take what he Tweets and says in the media with a pinch of salt and even if you do believe him, he needs to show total commitment up until January until we even consider him for an important game, in my opinion. There's a huge gap for Ade to make up for me and I'm sure other players won't appreciate him coming in after spending last season being a total cock, afterall why should they have to bother with behaving well whilst others don't. I'd rather Kane played but given that we'll be trying to sell Ade in January I think we should give him a couple of run outs in the EL and League Cup in the hope that some club somewhere is mad enough to take him.

It's a shame because Ade's a great player and I loved watching him for us in his loan season. His behaviour has been unforgivable though.

Sorry, but a lot of that is complete and utter unsubstantiated bollocks.

Come on people, let's move on. This team needs your support, not your hate. If Ade has been given a new chance, then bringing up the past is of no use. At the end of the day, what's best for Ade is also best for the team, so hating him makes no fucking sense.

I don't disagree that adebayor has a lot of ability, he clearly has but has spent the best part of his career wasting his talent. The moment it was clear his signing was becoming dragged out and he was on holiday in new York whilst just about every other footballer was in pre season I never wanted him near our club again, from yhat moment on it was clear to me what we were going to get with him.

I take your point about all effort and little talent but I've a million times more respect for daws and walker for making the most of themselves than I have for ade.

I hope this post comes out right, I'm really struggling to quote other posts on my phone since this new upgrade

One thing I forgot to add BC is that some of fergie's man u teams over the years (certainly last years) prove it's not necessarily the most talented team that wins the league but the better TEAM that wins and imo daws and walker are a whole lot more conducive to that than ade will ever be

We need to include Adebayor in the squad again. I see no reason why we shouldn't do it. I know he has been out of shape, but should be back to full fitness by now.

I absolutely take your point and I would never advocate playing half arsed wankers on the off chance they might occasionally show a glimpse of their mercurial talent. But it isn't that black and white where Adebayor is concerned because for me, even a less than fulling firing Adebayor is worth more to a team than a 100% Defoe.

And the other caveat is that I don't believe some of Adebayor's performances were as bad as people made out last year (but accept some weren't), and I think sometimes he was trying when people said he wasn't, I just think that his head wasn't "right" and things that he can normally do weren't looking instinctive anymore, were looking laboured and he looked out of sorts.

But even my post above I said I'd be happy if Soldado was picked ahead of him, because despite being a fan of him (on form) and his type more than the Soldado type No.9 in general, I actually accept that Soldado brings consistent quality in the box IMO, and right now I'd take that happily rather than gamble on the all round superior game of Adebayor.

Just don't give me Defoe as an alternative. Because for all his faults I'll take the mentally fragile Adebayor nearly ever time.

Get the impression Adebayor has realised that he cant hold AvB to ransom anymore because we've bought in Soldado, and he is in danger of becoming the forgotten man of football? He cant have many years left, what is he 29/30?

All of a sudden his agent is pumping out a full on PR storm on his twitter.

It is sad to see that Adebayor is not included. What has happened between him and AVB?

AVB said post match that Ade is "pushing" for the first team. Given that, I'd expect to see him on the bench on Thursday. But back to the point, a fit Ade is a massive plus for the team. Let's get behind him. I just don't get why people are being negative about him and I think a lot of what's gone on with him has been exaggerated and overplayed. He's a really good player, get him on the pitch. Him and Soldado would score bucket-loads together.

Bring Manny back into the fold as soon as possible. If he is applying hinself in training and makes the best of any chances he gets to play he will be a fantastic bonus for us. On his day he can be unplayable like at Chelsea last season. He has the talent but needs to show the hunger and desire when called upon.

The official facebook page had a picture of him and defoe hugging. They usually avoid featuring players they expect not to be involved for the forseeable.
