Had a good caller on TS last night who shut Andy Goldstein & Stewart Robson up re ‘spurs season not being a success’. After he pointed out that NO pundit had us down for a CL spot, played all season away from home & we have nowhere near the funds or wages City, United, Chelsea, Liverpool & Arsenal can offer. Once he stumped them all that poxy cockney red could say was ‘ gotta take some other calls etc etc. Robson banging on about ‘no trophy’ . I don’t want people blowing smoke up our arses but credit where credit is due eh. Never listen to Durham coz It’s just goading fm & Goughie makes Donald Trump look sensible.
If you’d have given me where we are now @ the start of the season I’d have bitten your arm off.

Very rarely listen to Talkshite, but listened to a bit of it in the car on the way home from the game last night.
Chelsea fan on moaning that they don’t score enough goals. Then started slating Morata, saying “he ain’t even got a World Cup to be thinking about”. To which the presenters said “why is that then?”, and he said “well he don’t get games for Italy and they haven’t even qualified anyway”.....
.... at which point they informed him that’s because he’s Spanish mate.
Lots of tumbleweed ensued

Yeah i heard him, very sensible call, said exactly the right things to which Goldstein and the other one had no response. Made an excellent point about Salah and Liverpool and the fact they've won nothing, could still finish below us yet the media are all over them.
Goldstein has spent the season digging us out at every opportunity.
I listened to Durham last night, at 5.59 he said, OK from 6 we're concentrating on Chelsea v Huddersfield, after the news and for the next 30 minutes they discussed spurs and whether Kane should be dropped.
Seems to be whatever they can find to hit spurs with, they will.

Funny how, according to Goldstein & Robson, the most important games of the season are only the ones you lose. All too happy to slate the team for losing out to Juventus and United in the semi, but offered no praise for securing top four last night. Considering we had Wanyama and Sissoko in midfield, our least creative pairing, we should have at least got some praise.
Then again, they are a couple of muppets.

Durham is actually making some good points today for a change
