Shocking developments as Durham misses the point.

The stadium being delayed was expected and understandable. How the club handled the situation with the statement released initially and the offer of gold upgrades merely a week before was not.

Loved that article. I don't always agree with Johnny Nicholson but I agree with every word of this.
You just know that the club that these journalists won't write about is Liverpool.
The tribalism a lot of them display is just fucking odd, almost cult like.

Major issues in relation to fire and evacuation systems.

Nothing to do with Spurs, does dipstick realise that Levy isn't actually building the stadium with his own bare hands.

Oooh let me guess...but Spurs employed the main contractor blah, blah, blah.

Yes feckwit, you are correct. A main contractor that will be delivering a World class stadium that will have all and sundry drooling, whilst also ensuring that those who wish to experience this great stadium will be given the best chance of being kept safe in the event of a fire or other tragic event that sees the need for fire and evacuation systems to be implemented.

Move along arsehole, far too sensible for one so intellectually challenged. KNOB.

You fucking leave Bob alone.

You won't remember 'In Bed with Medinner', bloody millenials.
He does sound a bit like zippy off rainbow, u won't remember that either.

Bringing Mills back from the wilderness is probably the greatest thing Colin Murray will ever do.

'In Bed With Medinner' was a great show! Friday nights around the same time as 'The Word'!

Actually think Levy/Cullen are pretty ruthless in their dealings. Pretty surprised we haven’t actually banned this shower from the stadium. And that clown Ashton as well.

We have a lot of self entitled babies supporting this club, comes with the territory of a big club I guess but the over reaction and moaning recently is unbearable, fucking hell.

Genuine grievances are lost in the hysteria.

You're either a levy hater or happy clapper now. No middle ground.

I was a happy clapper clapper, but i'm bang in the middle right now...no signings and the disappontment of Wembley has made me this way.

Personally I've always thought that enic would only get us upto a certain point. That point is now in my opinion. I think most of us wrote off last season as far as expectations and I although I don't particularly care for it (under our model) I understand that the club needed CL for the new stadium and therefore that was the expectation.

Time for a money bags to come in.

Moose winding up Jim White, calling the SPL the Scottish Pub League - Jim got furious and started going off on one and every time he sent it back to Moose for some sort of retraction or apology, he just stuck in another dig. Finished with him demanding Moose retract "pub" for "poor" - That's not a win, Jim. Not a win at all :ROFLMAO:

Hilarious :D

Adrian Durham is the dictionary definition of ‘face for radio’ so it’s not surprising he’s gone so far.

What was that show he did on ITV back in the 90s, a bit like a TV version of Pictionary???

The moaning and negativity has nothing to do with the stadium delay. Fans and media are still bitter that Spurs and Levy did a big F U to the transfer market and spent nothing. The negativity will go out of control if we dont keep winning. It feels like everyone is waiting for a loss so they can have a real moan.

Bloody hell this needs to be stickied

This gets rolled into paranoia that everyone is biased against you, especially the media. The media are always biased against your team, though exactly who and what the concept of this media extends to is never made clear. Does it extend to the sports report on the Today programme, for example?

Time after time in a season we hear people saying that the media are not giving their side enough credit. It is such an idiotic cliche. It beggars belief that it is still trotted out, like there is a credit-o-meter to measure these things. And it is compounded by the fact that clearly, the people using it have invariably not consumed the full panoply of media but have just drawn this conclusion from watching a game on MOTD. In other words, they’re prepared to confect their rage from very little material.

I suppose what I’m saying here is that the worst tribalist seems able to suspend rationality and common sense when it comes to their club and behave in a very odd, paranoid way, though for what reason is less clear. I don’t know what anyone gets out of this, except increased blood pressure. It must be the most extreme form of identity politics.

The one thing I'll say about the article talking about the media is it fails to take into account the media pundits own personal tribalism and bias into account.
