Is it time to starve this **** of the oxygen he so desperately desires and lock this shit?

Never disappoints. It was a Real Madrid b team and it wasn't a final.
I heard Goldstein had been drinking Durham Juice last night. Never heard such drivel come out of the mouth of a grown man.

No, scrap that I've listened to Graeme Souness on sky.

Ye I was listening aswell. He lost the plot when he said money shouldn't be talked about. I get his argument about which was the bigger result, though I disagree.

Just keep doing what we're doing. We've been ramming it back at plenty of so called experts and journos alike for the last few seasons.

Durham is good at his job, his job is to pull in listeners, doesn't matter if callers are abusing, a popular show brings in advertisers which in turn brings in revenue for the station.

Thanks, we had absolutely no idea how it all works.

Pleased to say that Joey Barton pretty much put him back in his box after these predictable comments, even after Durham kept desperately dragging the argument back onto the paucity of Spurs' achievement...

Before the first game he was all about how Spurs had to make a statement by actually winning or getting a result in Madrid. I haven't bothered much with him since but we have drawn there and won at Wembley. If he had any consistency, he would now be giving some credit but he just ignores his previous nonsense as if it was never said----He's a prize pratt and probably doesn't believe most of what he says anyway.

Joey's very good as it happens knows his onions and talks football, I always listen when he's on.
First caught him earlier in the season, thought it was macmanaman but knew it couldn't be because he wasn't talking bollocks.
Shame his only gig is on talksport as he knocks most tv pundits into a cocked hat.

Apparently it'll be as good as it gets this season for us and we're getting carried away. Joey Barton said that Spurs fans should be able to enjoy the moment and they deserve to but Durham was already moving on to fawning all over city. I don't mind too much because Durham doesn't mean half of what he comes out with IMO, he just wants as many indignant texts and phone calls as possible. What I have found irritating today from TalkSport is them trying to make it sound like a competition: which was the better result last night, Spurs or city. City did brilliantly and they are playing brilliantly but both were great results I'm their own right. It just feels annoying at times that when we do well, half our players are going to real Madrid or Barcelona and Poch is going to get poached by PSG or we've still not proven anything because we've won nothing. It's almost like some of the media just don't think that we belong at that level.

I was listening after the first match when his headline was ‘should Spurs now be taken seriously after holding Madrid in their back yard’ and his argument was yes, basically.

He’s such a nob. He’s actually decent on a Saturday when it’s much less about opinion and more about hosting a football show.

Not a huge fan of Barton but he is right about Spurs.

I'm not a fan of the thuggy twat but, though it pains me, I have to admit i like him as a pundit on Talksport. He might only be applying the common sense the other presenters appear to be missing (or ignoring) a lot of the time, but I can't find him wrong on much of what he says. Makes quite a change on that station.
