Who knows, if true she must. I like his playing style a lot but I never really thought we had a chance at him.
Connected to that report. 'Veronique' certainly does approve....

Barcelona representatives were in Paris on Tuesday for Adrien Rabiot
Mundo Deportivo’s initial reporting suggesting that Barcelona Sporting Director Éric Abidal was in Paris on Tuesday to meet with PSG for French midfielder Adrien Rabiot has since been supported by reliable French sources.
Paris United claim that a provisional salary agreement has been reached between Rabiot’s agent and mother Veronique and PSG worth €600k a month net over 5 years.

FCB are conscious of approaching the topic in an appropriate fashion, having learned the hard way about going after one of PSG’s players in Marco Verratti last summer, only for Les Parisiens to take revenge a sign Neymar in response. PSG were so furious that they even brought about the change of Verratti’s agent from Di Campli to Raiola.
The purpose of Abidal’s trip was to enquire formally about the availability of Adrien Rabiot. Les Parisiens are split on the matter: PSG President Nasser Al Khelaifi wants to keep the Frenchman, whilst Sporting Director Antero Henrique is more keen to sell, as Rabiot has just one year left on his current deal remaining and does not appear close to agreeing to sign a PSG extension.

Would be quite surprising for me. With PSG and Barcelonas dealing last summer I can't imagine they would be thrilled to do a deal. Not to mention Barca just bought the kid from Brazil to fill in a CM role.

I'd say closer to 15.5 but by the looks of her, if you piss her off, she'll probably hunt you down & burn you at the stake in less than 5.
Is that not Karen Brady without her makeup?

Hopefully if they get Rabiot, then their interest in Eriksen will decrease

GFFN just tweeted the following, which I've summarised:

PSG Manager Thomas Tuchel will not oppose the departure of Adrien Rabiot who could be available for 40m euros according to Le Parisien.

Sporting Director of PSG wants to sell player with only 1 year left on his current deal.
Owner wants to keep him
Tuchel is indifferent, happy to sell if replaced.

Could actually be there for the taking this year... Curious as to who all the real options are. Barca just bought a CM, Real are stacked, Chelsea getting Jorginho. Maybe City go for him, who knows.

I haven't seen enough of him to form a real opinion. Seems to be everything we are looking for, is he actually that good?

We should be all over that for that amount of money if he doesn’t go to Spain.

He’s caused an absolute stink every year in PSG whether he’s playing or not.

I’m not sure why people would want him. It’s not as if he’d suddenly settle down here - he’d be crying for a move to Real every summer if we were to buy him.

Seems a bit darts at the wall from RMC who are usually quite reliable. Unless Arsenal are going to do a loan to buy or sell someone (who?) for a decent fee I don't see how they can be in the hunt here. They've reportedly already spent 70-80 odd million Euros this summer.

If Barca are in for him I think that is the way he goes. They seem to be back on their stock piling players routine.

Rabiot goes to Barca... Andre Gomes price drops... Levy smiles.

Funny how the whole 'selling to a rival' thing seems to be an obsession in England. PSG will undoubtedly piss their way into the CL every season for the forseeable future, so they don't have domestic rivalries like we do, but, once they are in the CL there's a decent chance they'll run into Barca at some stage. Don't really see why they'd sell him there tbh.

Who could PSG possibly sell a player to that isn’t a CL rival? No clubs want to sell to domestic rivals, Madrid and Barca almost never do business for example. Italy, France, and Germany have (currently) monolithic leagues where the top club can sometimes force the other’s hands. But once a player is on 50k a week or so, the number of likely transfer destination gets very thin, and once a player is good enough to play for PSG it’s quite likely they would refuse any move to a non-CL club. It’s just impractical.
