De Jong going to P$G in a record deal 66m£ according to Telegraaf. City had to back out because of Football Leaks and FPP, so PSG matched the bid in a second.

How are PSG able to comply with FFP but City aren't ?

JJ saying he's off to Barcelona. I find that a weird transfer. How does he fit in their midfield?

Rakitic and Busquets are both 30 and Vidal is 31. Vidal screamed a short term fix buy. They desperately need to plan for the future

Seems most of the links are to Real Madrid for Eriksen now a days.

Yes, it has kind of swung that way now it appears. Mind you, the way they get through managers, Eriksen might not be flavour of the month all too long.

I'm kidding myself aren't I. He's so damn good he's always going to have admirers for a few seasons yet.

Not really sure what I thought about the Rabiot links. No questioning his talent, but sulky to boot. Poch's got a good team cohesion going within the club. No little cliques, they all seem to get along together.

Don't need that destroying by a moody little French twerp with mother in toe.

NON! NON! NON!

No I completely understand bringing in a younger player, more of the style of Rabiot compared to what we're used to with Barca midfielders. Coutinho & Arthur are clearly the future there, Busquets is likely to play well into his early/mid 30's. I don't see a clear starting opportunity for him. I've seen many Barca fans saying Coutinho is best in midfield rather than on the wing where they have Malcom and Dembele hoping to step up and grab that spot.

It’s simple...

Rabiot to Barca
De Jong to PSG
N’Dombele to City

Nobody to Spurs...
I think Berge would be a good signing and more in our market, but let’s not kid ourselves for one second and think that we are shelling £60+ on anybody

Gallows humour rating, but you’re absolutely right. We’ll sign prospects if anything

So I guess our selling point to him is he's likely a starter for us and a bench player for Barcelona.

The only reason I'd be interested is potential re-sale value.

With all the shit he's (and his agent mother) pulled at PSG I genuinely can't see him being here longer than two years.
