I don't think there have been a player in the whole history of football, where the players mother have been discussed in greater length than the actual player.

He has supposedly already stated that he is not interested in us because "Tottenham is not a big enough club". No use in wasting our energy on him.

As talented as he is, he seems to be at least twice as good at being a bit of a cock. I think sometimes talent is outweighed by the harm someone can have in a dressing room.

Saw via the ParisUnited English twitter account some interesting info.. PSG are obviously looking for midfielders and have Lobotka as a backup option should they not be able to get Paredes/Weigl/De Jong, meanwhile Napoli have offered a loan with option to buy for Lobotka already..

That was a player we had rumors about in the summer.

Not a very bright thing to say. It's ok to think that, and to aim higher but to put it out there on social media is very very silly (if indeed he did say that himself and not "sources say ... ")

Says a lot about his mental capability. We appear to be big enough for the world Cup winning captain and the golden Boot winner but not for this tit.

Paris United now reporting we've made a bid for the player and Poch is to contact him personally to try and convince him to join.

They're fairly reliable, if I recall?

Yes, very reliable regarding PSG news. I don't think Barca will go for him after getting De Jong.

Wonder if he will change his mind now De Jong is going to Barca. Not nice being second choice is it Adrien

Barcelona have apparently offered better personal terms, which is to be expected.

Always thought this might be back on if De Jong chose Barca. Their fans seemed to be convinced that it was one or the other. It doesn't seem that any other mega clubs are in for him, and we have an excellent relationship with PSG, so we may have something of a free run at him.

Let's see if Poch is able to convince him now that he's not going to get his dream move.

Yes they are highly regarded. Can't see him choosing us, but fair play for Poch trying. Ay least if true we'll be able to scratch De Jong and Rabiot off the list for good.

I don't understand where he fits at Barca, you have Busquets, De Jong and Athur in that middle section. That's before I mention Rakitic and Vidal who maybe are being phased out but even so.

Reminds me of Herc's analogy of 'sloppy seconds' a while back.

Also if Poch has met with Rabiot and he does actually agree to join us you'd think Poch was happy with his personality, so would mitigate those concerns.
