Ive mentioned this before but I work with someone who has spent a lot of time in the game with him and the reason you gave about him leaving PSG is wrong. Also you're wrong about his lack of quality. Highly rated and very much liked in those quarters. You're entitled to your opinion, so when you say "I expected better" that's okay. Although I'd say lower your expectations until next season.

The game reminded me very much of the away game vs. Soton last season. Went behind early, struggled to get going before growing into it and taking over the game. Alli equalising, getting the lead in the second half and killed them off with two late goals.

Definitely. I know that this isn't an exact parallel but Modric struggled in his first season at the club.
