Is that last paragraph about Sherwood having biggest win percentage in PL history right???
Cant be can it ?????
Give him the job and he pulls that off, just to then to sack him would be daft. He's a goner then lol.
If it is right we need to take 5 and have a rethink, gob shite or not.:stop:
Edit- not saying he should stay, just make sure if he is gonna go he's replaced by someone whos gonna probably do better. Not sacking redknapp to replace with avb (still sounds like a stupid idea lol)

True over 17 games and has 0% win ratio in games against teams in the top four.

How ironic that this happens the day after Sherwood comes out with his "stop touting for my job" quote.

Yes, it must be annyoing for Tim, but he seems to have lost the support of the board and fans (including this one) a while ago. I really hope De Boer is brought in soon on a long deal to stop all the speculations, and bring some good vibes. With Ajax having won the league this weekend, the timing would be ideal to pursue de Boer, who has now won four consecutive titles with Ajax and will probably be interested in listening to offers - but could also be lured by other suitors I fear.

Season ticket renewal time .

Nothing more , nothing less .

The club usually leaks details of a tenuous link to a world beating player .

This time it's a manager .

As soon as the renewal date has passed this will fall through .
With a season ticket waiting list like ours I doubt we'd have any problems if some fans didn't renew. Although I was a massive fan of LVG I had concerns over his personality. Either way I'd love us to have a strong Dutch connection, think of the players who could follow

He has been the man I thought would get the job from the off. I praying it happens as I think his arrival could lead to some real success.

If he does come will overmars and
Dennis bergkamp be coming aswell.
Not sure why a manager would bring a DOF from a club with him, esp as that roll is filled. He may well Bergkamp , which i would be fine with as finally may Les fucking Ferdinand can go

Not now but hopefully they will soon have a 60,000 seater stadium to fill .

I think that has something to do with the club's treatment of fans having improved over the past decade .

TBH I feel a little for Sherwood , hes beaten most of the teams he would be expected to , and been defeated by the teams most of our recent managers have also in previous seasons , I just cant get where all this bitterness and yes I mean bitterness comes from ,its not like hes taken us down , we beat sunderland at home 5-1 all we get from our so-called supports " OH! hes only beaten the leagues bottom club" then the same bottom club draw at city and win at Chelsea , The guy cant win , I think some should be ashamed of theirselfs . Sherwood dint give himself the job levy did whilst knowing of his limitations due to lack of experience .

This cant be true because only yesterday Gaz Gammon said
'I have been told from a reliable source that Sherwood is going nowhere. I would go so far as to say that "they" are very happy with progress that Sherwood has made in particular to the fact that he is starting our home grown young players.
Like it or not, we better get used to having Sherwood as Manager'

Feel sorry for Tim as I wanted him to do well, but he probably needs to go away and gain some experience at a smaller club. If we are to go down the foreign route again then FDB is the guy I'd wanna see rocking up at the Lane next season. Other than that and (I'll probably get canned for this), I'd take a look at Tony Pulis who I think is terribly underrated. :bag:

Well I hope FDB knows how to get us a 1 nil win at Stoke and we dont sit here 1 year from now in 10th place saying that "he needs time"

Like every otherm Spurs manager has simpy swept those sides away.

Two more wins equals a record points haul, but be my guest and just find something else negative to say.

Look Gaz, Tim is just a rookie with a wandering mouth. If the club can bring in better, I'm all up for that! We need a guy to bring some stability and above all else, some dignity back to our club. The right manager could do a lot with the players we have.

Why do some fans look at Tim as a guy who ever had a rat's chance in hell of being given the job beyond this season?! He was employed as an interim manager. He's probably exceeded the board's expectations, but they must have also noticed his embarrassing flappy mouth and his chancer-style tactics. More luck than judgment I reckon!

That was neither a pro not anti Sherwood comment.

But let's get real, he ain't the man for the job.
It'd be like Manure giving David May the job.

I've got nothing against Sherwood, I liked him as a player and don't have the ridiculous hatred for him that most on here do.
But he's not the man to take us forward.

Harry and AVB between them beat everyone in the top 4 plus manure when they were in it.
Timmy looks totally out of his depth against those teams.
