Individual records as manager don't really count for a lot, especially over such a small sample (17 games).
Let's get it right, Sherwood's not taken over a struggling team and turned things on it's head (like Harry did). He's got a very talented squad to work with, full of international footballers.
He's done a decent job, results-wise and, given his lack of experience, should be forgiven for makng a few mistakes as he should be praised for, say, bringing back our best striker (nice one AVB).
However where he's let himself down appears to be his treatment (often publically) of the players. Saying they're 'much of a muchness' and only Lloris, Eriksen and Ade are top class!! I'm sorry Tim but you need a lot more on your CV before you can even think about saying things like that about your squad.
Maybe he already knew he was being replaced so wanted to make it look like he was getting decent results with an average squad, other than Eriksen (who he recommended) and Ade (who he brought back in)!!!
He was far too vocal about far too many things, without the track record to earn the player's respect.
Gone right off track!! If we bring De Boer in, he HAS to be given time. He's the young coach (working with a DoF) that Levy is after. His Dutch background should mean decent football, let's give him time to make it successful, decent football.
