He could play across the three for sure, but I think our analyses team will spot how effective he's been coming from the left for brentford and want to play to his strengths.

Between him and chadli it'd be no competition imo, pritch is different gravy (never thought I'd ever use that term...).
Agree, he's different gravy from Chadli, although I think no10 will ultimately be his position. That would allow us to have decent pace on either side of Kane, which I think we'll need.

Thauvin Pritchard Depay
-----------Kane------------

Would be an ideal scenario imo.

I disagree, I haven't seen any evidence that Pritchard can produce quality left footed crosses to the extent Chadli can - which is a high benchmark. I can use his left, just not as well as Chadli. So he would be a cutter insider from the left.

I suspect we're looking to bring different competition in for Chadli, and Pritch will challenge at the No 10. Eriksen needs competition, and we haven't exactly had anyone performing there consistently anyway. Pritch's skillset and physical ability is perfectly suited to the No 10 in this congested system, absolutely perfectly. If the links with Thauvin are true, I'd be very surprised to see us have two more creative type attacking mids flanking Eriksen and insufficient pace. Would maintain the exact same problems as we've had this season, and I like to think Poch has learned his lesson.

I can kinda see where the guy is coming from but those Clubs like Wolves have been run poorly and are suffering from that now. I mean for people of my age group we would see Clubs like Sheff Wed and Forrest as Prem Clubs but as you say no Club has a devine right to be there just because they have a big fanbase and a decent history. I mean god damn, Forrest have 2 Champions League cups in their trophy room (or European Cups as it was then).

I'm 34 so also of the age where I consider Sheff Wed, Forest and even Coventry to be Premiership teams, though the glory days of Wolves are before my time

To an extent that is why I was happy when Southampton got promoted but personally I like to see clubs for whom EPL football is/was a pipe dream make it, it adds that bit of magic to football for their fans

Equally though I like to see big clubs relegated to mix things up, Loved seeing Newcastle and West Ham go down. In the past I've wanted Everton and Villa to

I don't think the EPL should be so elitest as to think certain teams are EPL level teams and we don't want smaller teams making it because they devalue the product - otherwise football may as well just pick the biggest, richest and most well supported teams and make them play one another in a break away league with no relegation or promotion for the lower teams

Cutting in is the whole reason why we use inverted wingers.

Though, granted, it is handy to be bale to keep the FB guessing. But overall Pritchard's skill set is on another level to chad. Chad looks like he's powerful; but he's mostly powder puff and doesn't have the technical command, vision and depth of skill pritch has.

It's useful to have chad in the squad as he can play left, right and cf imo, but pritchard is another story and can add so many colours to our game where chadli is mostly monochrome.

And as I say all this it looks like he's injured and might be coming off....

If Ipswich score this penalty would if change the Play off match ups?

Meaning Brentford play Norwich instead of Middlesborough?

Edit - BRentford's 3 answers that question lol
