I suppose the Player Thread may be used, but here's a loan one anyway.

On the bench today. I though he had an injury setback and wouldn't be ready yet.

On the bench again.

Can't stand Pulis, so defensive, Rondón, Lambert, Sessegnon and Pritchard all on the bench.

Yeah, we're having a baron spell at the moment

well I posted that while we were still trying to bludgeon our way through a parked watford bus and you know as well as I do that we often struggle against such tactics. pritchard's sharp movement and ability to unlock a packed defence is something that we could very well do with in such circumstances.

I am a fan of his, but coming back from an injury I think the loan is a good move from him. Let him be the main creative point for West Brom as we have no easy games left this season and we already have a lot of attacking midfielders doing well, so it'd be tough for him to get on the bench. This loan will be for the best in the long run.

from a thread titled "positives today" on wba forum:
Pritchard looked bright.
Pritchard looks what we need, neat and tidy passing, positive and looks to run at players and make things happen
Pritchard looked decent
I wasnt there
:ROFLMAO:

twitter:
Pritchard looking like the only player who gives a shit and he doesn't even belong to us!!!
The only positives from today are Chester wasn’t shit and Pritchard is decent
Alex Pritchard's energetic debut was the only positive. And I mean only.
Pritchard looked decent on the ball at least
Pritchard played Decent and so did Foster other than that absolutely poor
Only positives from today gmac carrying on when clearly injured. Pritchard showing willingness to commit players.
watch Pritchard never play for us again after actually taking on players today !!!

Newcastle fan:
He was the best West Brom player on the pitch by a distance, looked like a proper player. Everyone inside SJP wondering who the hell this kid was, I would fear for him under Tony Penis as they don't really play football and he looked like he wanted to get on the ball and play. I like the look of him.

and finally a butthurt goon:
Interesting how West Brom loans Gnabry, who gets thrown in the reserves and then they loan Pritchard and he plays immediately.

Well the thing Pritchard has going for him is that he always tracks back and works really hard off the ball. I think Pulis might actually like him.

From above link

Pritchard could be an asset
Not yet damaged by Albion's dire lack of invention, Alex Pritchard made an impact on his debut.

Signed on loan from Tottenham earlier this week, the winger was introduced as a substitute immediately after the interval.

He fired over following a rare moment of offensive fluidity from Albion.

And the 22-year-old was willing to step up and take responsibility at set-pieces.

He curled a decent free-kick 20 yards out that brushed the top of the net and did at least give Newcastle keeper Rob Elliot something to think about.

Pritchard, diminutive in stature, but not industry, occasionally found pockets of space and was at the centre of the Baggies' best work going forward.

With his low centre of gravity, he has the ability to turn on a sixpence and also pick out a pass.

Let's hope he doesn't become bogged down by West Brom's abysmal dearth of ideas.

Is he eligible to play against Posh in midweek? Or did he have to be with them before the first match?

He hasn't played for another team in the FA Cup this season, so he should be eligible.

I'm not so sure. Steven Caulker wasnt at Liverpool before they played Exeter and I think was ineligible for their replay. However if they win the replay I think he can play in the next round.
