Mods - I have read that the source is a top paper for Napoli news. I am sorry if this doesn’t meet guidelines. If not please remove.

I personally would cream for this kid. Pointed him out in a couple Scouting Threads over the years. He would slot right in IMO.
'I would personally cream for this kid.'

Phrasing!

Hmm, you better hope that no one is monitoring your keystrokes. :cautious:

Would love it...got to be very expensive, 40m range? Napoli doesn’t need to sell obviously. Is he a similar type to TOB?

I have never seen TOB play outside his appearances for the first team this year, so I can’t really comment.

But I would relate him to Josh and based on mental Development he is far ahead in that race. He can play a more defensive role though so a midfield three of Diawara/Josh/Winks in the future would make me super happy.

He had a couple games in the CL last year where he controlled the midfield vs Real I believe. Found the clip:

Spursking in disguise? loljk

He's a good versatile midfielder and a good replacement for Dembele when that time comes. I'm not sure if Napoli want's to sell one of their best talents and especially when pushing for the scudetto and champions league. Maybe a transfer in the summer, but not now IMO

He looks very good (only seen the above clip mind), but nothing stands out to me that Josh cannot do. I think if Josh can start to assert himself more in games, as he did for England youth in the World Cup, then he can certainly be as good as this guy. Josh is a big talent, I hope we don’t waste him.

At the moment, I’d rather us go for De Jong for our CM option.

They are completely different type of players, Diawara is a DM and Josh is CM. Diawara is a beast and seriously talented but I’m not sure how he would fit in unless we swaped to a midfield 3 which we won’t. Otherwise he would just be a rotation option for Vic which wouldn’t make sense unless we are selling Dier and even so he is far too good to sit on the bench.

I do agree that our priority should be finding a CM, the ideal in my mind being Kovacic. Shame Real won’t sell him.

Very optimistic.

Sadly Josh can't even get regular games in the championship for Aston Villa.

Josh has the talent but he doesn't look to have the right mentality and desire to make it at the top. Just have a look at Villa thread to see lazy, lacking in desire, no urgency, plays in slow motion is described about his performances.

Exactly the words I've described him as when he has played for spurs in the league cup.

Thanks for posting. It's kinda similar to the Winks vs Real clip. Both were excellent. But, TBH, Winks probably shaded the two performances.

Could be the one JJ was talking about slotting right in. Would be a massive signing, based on what my friend who knows about football said. He's an Arsenal fan and reckons we'd have the best midfield in the league with him and Wanyama.

Don't see why we can't bring in both De Jong/Kovacic and Diawara tbh replacing Dembele and Sissoko. Hopefully the end of the Dier midfield experiment as well.

See we've been linked with him in 2015 and 2016 as well. Can't really see him jumping ship when Napoli are fighting for the title. Winning the title there would be an absolutely mental experience.

What kind of player is he? Is he an in and out defensive midfielder or has he got some attacking qualities? Can't remember that I've seen him play.
