Haidara crossed my mind last week, and I wondered if we were interested in him.

Now, I'd be slightly agitated if we do sign him, why? Well because he's not going to cost the earth so is attainable, meaning that we could have got him in much much earlier and saved ourselves all this stress and panic.

Of course, I'll have to see if there is anything in these links but if we end up signing a decent player like him for a relatively decent fee I think we have a right to be frustrated with it not being done earlier.

In my more optimistic moments I presume that DL is not as thick as we think he is. My assumptions then include he has ITK on other clubs, what they are up to, likely targets they have an some insight into their finances. My fanciful thinking also assumes he has a number of options he is keeping open, some of which we don't know about, so that he can move in whatever direction is best in the last few days of the window. So this kind of news fuels such thoughts

Then again pessimism rears it's ugly head and I go back to assuming we are doomed!
