papers are reporting that Anderlecht face expulsion from uefa cup following the incidents at the match the other night. uefa are investigating the matter.

Anderlecht were disaplined last year following trouble at a Champion league match.

Feyonord last year, Anderlecht this. Always seems to be someone in our group. if we make it next year, god help anyone drawn in our group.

A positive is, if Anderlecht beat Getafe then get thrown out, we would win the group.

it's interesting to know what will happen if they are expelled -

in fact given the chaos it's likely to cause within the group (it will automatically make us first in the group? thus depriving Getafe of the chance to top the group?) I think it's unlikely UEFA will do so

However if they hold the decision over but indicate expulsion is likely - then Getafe beat a demoralised Anderlecht team and top the group?

I can see all sorts of problems arising from this

The good news at least is that we're through whatever happens

Feyenoord was not our group was they, we was meant to meet them in the knockout rounds.

actually think your right. Meant to meet them in round of 32 but we went straight to round of 16. thanks.

Still......beware of spurs:evil:

It's a possible scenario - though UEFAs original 'decision' is due to be taken before their last game - these things tend to drag out though - especially if UEFA do play the expulsion card next week - I can't see it happening myself - but stranger things etc

10000 Euro fine and a sound telling off is more likely from the toothless UEFA.

They've displayed they are willing to kick out clubs. They kicked out Feyenoord last year, and Partizan in the qualifying rounds this year.
