I agree with Anderton. Berahino still got loads of room to improve, fast, skilful and right age. I think he could form a fantastic partnership with Kane, both for Spurs and for England in the future.

I'd settle for us signing any strikers at the minute.
Wtf is going on?
There's leaving it late and being stupid.
We'll have our hands tied if we dont pull our fingers out.

Deja vu or something isn't it! I hope its not Levy doing his usual brinkmanship BS, where the selling team eventually get sick of it and tell us to F-off.

At the right price Berahino could be a great signing. I read somewhere that Poch was denying that Soldado was leaving. However, he seems to be giving everyone a game in Germany but not Bobby so I suspect the deal is on.

Berahino attitude absolutely stinks - decent enough player but still relatively unproven imo.

Hernandez is more instinctive in front of goal and knows where the back of the set is for. My only concern is that we don't create a vast amount of chances so might he struggle?

I am so sick of starting nearly every season with glaring gaps in our team that either don't get filled or get filled in a panic at the last minute after we have already dropped points. We clearly need another striker. They should be in and training with the team now.

And don't tell me it is not that easy. Other clubs do it all the time. We never do it.

So why don't Spurs go after either one or the other; I'm starting to feel the same way as the other posters on here; that Spurs don't want to spend and really go after a few quality players.(I mean, as of now this transfer budget stands at around plus £11-12 mill.without any Soldado money)
Same with our midfield; go after McCarthy ffs, (we should be able to swing a deal involving Lennon surely?).
The way this transfer window is heading it's going to be back to the days of Risiak and Saha up front.

The easiest position to fill is the back four the hardest is a good forward and an attacking midfield general. We've done the easy bit now for the hard bit. Also IMO even if we get a decent striker to help Harry we've still got to create chances for them to score and I have not seen much of that so far.

One day the penny will drop with some of you. Your angst with would-be transfers is based on "information" you read in the press/on the internet.

99.99% of this "information" is frankly bollocks.

My angst is not based on any media based bollocks at all because as you said 99% of it is bullshit.
My angst is based on the cold hard fact that we are a few days away from the start of the season and we've got one fkin striker plus Soldado and Ade are still here.

Which 00.01% is correct then?
