Berahino has an attitude problem, but with the emergence of Pritchard, who linked up well with Kane in the U21 match against Portugal, both Townsend and Lennon could be surplus to our requirement. All in all, not a bad move if the story is true, and if we could pull it off.

I don't really see what the hype around Berahino is. He's not going to add anything substantial to the team and £20m is well over what he is worth

So we sell Lennon due to Poch not liking his attitude then bring in Berahino who has much worse attiude problems. That doesn't make sense.

Berahino is a good player and certainly Lennon and maybe Townsend aren't going to get much time in the first team. On paper this makes sense but it relies on all three wanting to do the deal. Not too worried about the attitude issues, he's just a kid who's a big fish in a small pond sure Poch can knock that out of him.

For me I don't want 2 x up and coming strikers! I want an experienced international striker who can mentor and educate Kane and teach him to progress. I like the fact we bring on young players but there must be a balance

We already have an experienced international who could mentor and educate Kane. If only Soldado could remember how to play up front, he'd be perfect! :D

When was the last time a player plus cash deal was done for anyone? Reminds me of the old Championship Manager game where you would offer 35m plus five players for Del-Piero (97/98 season) but he had no intention of leaving the club.
