Andros Townsend is considering his future at Tottenham with a number of clubs weighing up moves for him this summer, sources have told ESPN FC.

The players that have been linked are not any better really, so I don't see the point in selling him.

Sources ? No direct quotes from the player or the club so it is just hearsay. We should keep him, he is a young player who came through the ranks. I don't think we will sell him, Poch seems to be keen in keeping the young talent at the club.

bye bye, bye bye Andros bye bye. One of the most frustrating overated players we have had in a long while.

Sell while his stock is still high. He will be worth 5M playing for someone like West Ham soon.

Excels under managers who give him licence, but does not suit a highly prescriptive manager of the Pochettino type. Sadly it is in everyone's interest for him to leave before his career stalls.

I know I'm in the minority but I hope we keep him.

When I pick a team I look for balance, if we have a skilful player on one side I like to have a speedster on the other and right now I don't think we can get anyone better than Andros.

And with Kane playing up front, you need someone who can stretch a team on the the counter and that is why you need Townsend there.

Today's game is all about the squad and if we were struggling in a game I would like to have Townsend on the bench as he offers something different to the other wide players we have.

It's a make or break season for the lad and I think he's deserves one more season to show if he has progressed.

If not ,I would sell him next season.

With Lennon being on the way out, Townsend does offer pace to worry a defence. He is Spurs made and I'd like to think we might have more than one style of play. If he's unhappy or we have identified another pacey player with better finishing then fair enough, but he is not a bad player. Too many changes can be worse than no change at all.

Either Lennon or Andros should go IMO. Not both. Given the choice, I'd keep Andros, but if we had a big offer, then bye-bye and and keep Lennon.

I don't think Lennon's future is tied to Townsend - I get the sense that Lennon will not be back, period.

Now, if Townsend is sold, I assume it means more than 1 wide attacking MFer will be coming in.

I had expected that Lennon would sign for Everton. The fact it hasn't happened yet seems to imply it won't. There doesn't seem to have been any other rumours about him circulating (unless I've missed something) so the way it's looking he could still be at Spurs next season. The way he played at everton, I'd sya that might be a good thing overall, but I wouldn't want him and Andros to stay. Too many wingers on our cards, especially with Pritchard around now as well.

I don't think he is training with the squad - so it seems rather optimistic that he is going to have a role at Spurs this season.

The problem with Townsend? He just never learns and therefore will not get any better. He's good but he ain't great and we need great - I'd prefer a Konyplonker or that Mohammed Salah - both have end products (excuse mis-spells)

A bit like a load of players that we seem to sign, like: Jenas (never improved), Walker (lacking basic decision making skills), Lennon (can't cross a ball) and Defoe (always offside) but to name but a few.

All clubs have a long list of those though...
