I know I know you're bored of new stadium rumours and want to wait until it comes out from the club, but that might be months.

I dont do ITK's unless I know its safe so I'll share this with you guys at the risk of looking daft, but I trust him.

I have a friend at a large Australian engineering firm based in Southampton Row, London and he says they have just won the contract for our new ground.

He says its definately at WHL and at least 60,000 seats. He has seen the pics but has no access to the images. He's a contract CAD tech so I'll give him a break.

I am on it to get more info and of course will share, but its got to be announced soon.

Come on Dave I need more info than that! There must be some images lying about somewhere, a few names to throw into the hat.

Keep me in the loop mate, cheers

I've won the building contract for the redevelopment. Any skilled tradesmen want a job?

I therefore believe none of these threads.

But because I really really really want to!

This one I choose to believe .....

One concern, weren't the Wembley builders Australian, they're not the same ones are they?

What does it look like? Orientation? Have they spun round 90deg as per previous speculation? Is it a generic Emirates type construction? What about transport, there is so much for you to find out......

God, if your mate is right I'll take back everything I've ever said about Aussies

If it were over 60k seats that would be the dogs danglies. The only thing that would beat that would be if the "Stand Up" campaign won and we managed to get one end standing room only.

I'm not holding my breath. Something will happen one day with relation to a stadium but I've been lifted up only to be smashed down before............

Definately not. I actually had a job interview with this lot once, and i know they are stadium specilaists. They actually have a mining pedigree, but are also structural, M&E etc.

Dont forget Multiplex were a Main Contractor - Dave Works for a consultant.

I think we should hire the Japanese and Koreans to come build it for us - tell them to bring tools, building materials and saki and let them get on with it.

In the time it took us to get Wembley down, funded, rebudgetted, go over budget by millions and take months longer to complete, for their world cup they managed to build or refit NINE stadiums for just about the same amount of our one.

Only if they give us the technology so we can have a hovering pitch like the one in the '02 World Cup, otherwise they can stay in Japan.

The fact that is at the 'images' stage means that a main contractor has not even been though about yet.

There needs to be all sorts of stage approvals, cost evaluations and then full designs before they can even offer it to a MC for costing.

Dont panic, at least not yet.

That was Multiplex. My mate works on their legal team so if they'd had anything to do with Spurs I'd hopefully have heard about it.

Or the Germans? Ship them over, point at the Lane and say "Westfallenstadion bitte". Come back a little later and happy days!
