Another year of building

Its the same every year with us that same sentence we say to arsenal fans and any football fan were arguing with, " we will see next season" never before have i had myself saying this before the season gets underway.

i think if we never sold carrick we would have done well when we got berby and when he went it set us back a year to rebuild, now with modric, dos santos and gomes with bale and king coming back i was starting to get excited and now with keane and berby going its goin back another year.

is this going to happen every other year can we see modric and dos santos fucking off after we get close to some sort of success.

i'm a 19 year old spurs fans and only remember us winning 2 league cups hardly anything to be proud about when i see all my arsenal mates going to cup finals every year apart from the last couple of years.

and i think when arsenal sell their players they still get someone pop up from somewhere and stay in the top 4, spurs are meant to be a club that is meant to be big but we just sell our players its really pisses me off i want us to be as good when my dad was my age when he use to go to the lane and see double winning sides.

with the berby and keano cash we really have to spend it well otherwise i cant see us doing much for years. i cant stand the way arsenal just play better football than us when ever we play them and go one goal up every spurs fans expects and knows were not going to win.

this season i hope we buy a van persie or adebayor and a fabregas and when we play arsenal we really play football against them like the old days from my videos of spurs an we can beat them.

With Ramos coming in there were always going to be big changes, however I feel the long term deal he has been given, and the amount of say he has in the club, plus the renewed belief in Comolli, we will be put on the right track, it might just take a season to get there.

Patience is a virtue that us Spurs fans have been forced to use too much. But with Ramos in charge I fully believe we have a manager who knows what he is doing and what needs to be done. All respect to Jol, I dont think he was quick enough to address some of our issues. If Jol was in charge he would be panicking about what to do if/when Berbs and Keane leave, whereas I think Ramos knows exactly what he will do in any given situation.

Have faith. Maybe this could be beneficial for us.

yeah true but before ramos we thought Jol was goin to take us up tp top 4. i think it doesnt matter who arsenal get because wenger is just the best manager in world football today even though i really hate him. wenger made anelka, viera, henry, petit and overmars just pure class and when they move on they do fuck all. i think wenger has to be killed to make us have a chance of us getting anywhere near them.

My opinion of Jol was that he was an upcomign manager with an upcoming team. Unfortunately neither propelled the other forward.

With Ramos, we have a top class, proven trophy winning manager, with an upcoming team.

Jol knew how to get us from being mediocrity to being potential top 4. I think Ramos knows how to get us from potential top 4 to actual top 4.

Wenger, annoyingly, is in a class of his own, but even he has struggled a bit recently. We are probably one or two signings away from having everything set. If we lose Keane and Berbatov we will probably be 3/4 away, but thats a massive leap from where we were (when the first XI needed 7 or so signings)

wont ever change, next year we may not sell anyone big, but the year after, after we maybe finish 6th or so, Bale will go to man utd, GDS will be off, modric will be off, then we can start all over again as we are the big 4s bitches and feeding ground...

I hate to agree with you but i do unless we make the CL this will keep happening. I defintley think United will come back for Bale if he carries on progressing and Modric when Scholes calls it a day. They are disgrace not just becuase they keep coming to us for players.But because they don't even know how to approach a club in the right manner.Just look at their recuriment of Hargreaves and Carrick shocking!:bang:

sad to say but this is how it will be until the format of european qualification changes dramatically. with the money involved right now, this is unlikely.

yeah i was wondering if we could maybe have a ban on man utd from buying our players for the next 5 years and then if we get another berbatov and he wanted to leave he would have to go abroad because only man utd and maybe liverpool because of keane are big enough teams to prize away our stars. no one from us will ever go to chelsea cos they ruin your career and they would never go to arsenal because i personally would make it my business to kill them.
