Agree, but sometimes players/people have to take These issues into their own hands. As someone who in the past wasn't afraid to look miserable when I didn't think I was being appreciated etc... I have found that in career environment this always works against you. Doesn't matter how good you are or could be, people only want PMA when assessing who deserves what.
Our very own Jan was like this when Pochettino joined, and has developed into one of the biggest parts of his leadership group. If Poch wants Martial he’ll put the effort into fixing this if he considers it a problem.

Also can't ignore the effect of Mourinho on every attacker at United. Martial, Sanchez, Pogba, Rashford, Mkhitaryan when he was there and Lukaku have all been affected by his outdated style of play. 2 of those just named are world beaters on their day, and Mourinho is just murdering them. If Martial came, Poch would get him enjoying his football again
Can you change your signature, the pic is huge lol.

I mean all of the main media outlets bar the Daily Express, Metro and Daily Star can be reliable. A few international outlets as well.

I'm not annoyed, just saying the sources you posted aren't reliable from what I've seen.

And imo it does matter if people just post stuff from any site or journalist, because then people can end up having meltdowns or get super excited for no reason.

I hear ya but I would argue that those people should have more self control. Nobody should be having a meltdown just cos a transfer rumour didn't pan out, I mean more of them don't than do.

In my view there aren't really any genuinely reliable sources cos even the best known ITKs can get things wrong. All transfer info tends to be 2nd or 3rd hand, passed on from someone or another.

I've said it before on here when people get all irate about ITK info. Nobody says you have to believe anything that an ITK says or what some random on twitter with 12 followers says but it's interesting to read it nonetheless. Either believe it or laugh it off, but if you get all upset and have a meltdown then maybe it's time to rethink your priorities.

Why would anyone give either of these twats the time of day?

Why are you aggy about it? Any need to call them twats?

First off, Ricky Sacks, from what I've seen is no different to Hotspur Related etc, he just collates all Spurs related news and posts it on twitter along with his own opinions. He doesn't claim to be ITK or offer inside info on anything.

Marc Benaram does claim to be privvy to info but I don't think he's a dick about it and you don't have to follow him or believe him, there's no gun to your head.

I just don't understand the anger.

Agreed, Benamram is a good twitter follow and definitely gets some info from club sources.

Yes my gut feeling. The only star there was Mata, the others hadn't done too much to be classed stars at the time. Martial is highly rated by many fans so it does have the potential to embarrass him.
Has Jose ever sold us anyone?
Jose thinks he knows best, so if he traded Martial for Aldereweld, he wouldn't worry about what other people might think

Ricky Sacks absolutely passes along information to make it seem like he's in the know. He also posts a lot of BS stuff from the rags.

I can see him going to Atletico if Griezmann goes or Juve is Dybala leaves. I will be amazed if they sell him to a pl club. I'm sure they would demand us sell them Toby and I'm not really happy about that. Even so, I'm sure they would rather sell him outside PL.

Yeah, only way this is happening with the Toby swap.

Love the player, but never got myself excited over any deal as I just cannot see it happening. This one would surprise me more than any other (including Bale)

I'd love to sell Alderweireld to United. I want nothing more than for them to think they are redoing their defence, only to get over-reliant on a CB who'll be injured 25% of the season or more.

Yeah, only way this is happening with the Toby swap.

Being fairly new to posting here, I'm going to go out on a limb & express my belief that Toby going to ManU is simply bad for football.

Mourinho is the antithesis of Poch's style of play, particularly going forward.

Both know how to win but take vastly different approaches.

Mourinho is a brooding, negative, win at any cost type of manager & he does it well.
He's a football philistine as he strips all the beauty out of the game. Hence why so many of his skillful, attacking players suffer under him.

ManU had the best defensive record in the Prem this past season yet only the 5th highest number of goals for despite having such expensive talent going forward such as Lukaku, Alexis, Martial, Mata, Pogba, Lingard & Rashford. These players thrived elsewhere yet he squeezes the life out of them & opponents with his suffocating style of play.

I fear if Toby was to go there, defensively he would improve what many already believe is a fairly 'meh' back line thus further reducing their goals against. Consequently, ManU would need to score even fewer goals in order to succeed. Now, having shored up his defense even more, would Mourinho be willing to change his style of play? He's stated & proven everywhere he's gone that he wouldn't. Conversely, Poch would then focus on how his players could best express themselves going forward.

Yes at RM, Mourinho's team scored many goals but 90% of the clubs they played against were significantly weaker. Even mid-table EPL or Bundesliga teams would score goals there for fun. La Liga is an inferior league less 3-4 clubs. In the EPL there is a much greater sense of parity.

In Martial, there is a talent lost in that shell of a player that Mourinho has disposed of & I have no doubts that Poch could resuscitate him. Would he bring the best out of him? That's to be seen as part of the onus is also on the player in how he responds.

I have mentioned "going forward" a number of times but having Toby go to ManU would be taking the EPL game as a whole 2 steps backwards.

I would rather Toby go anywhere other than ManU simply for the good of football.

He posts ALL Spurs news, from rags, random european websites and reputable papers and websites alike.

I've not seen him claim to be ITK at any point so we'll have to agree to disagree.

With Herc mentioning in ITK that if Martial doesn't happen there's an under radar player abroad same age we'd go for. I wonder if it's Hwang Hee-chan, same age as Martial and mentioned in relation to us targeting him in Austrian press (not enough to start thread). Salzburg play a really high intensity game so he'd be the type, plus he's South Korean international so Sonny will know him.

So martial has deleted all of his Instagram posts and pictures from his account. No idea what that means but my Utd supporting mate at work is worried about it

In response to @Lilbaz in the ITK thread in respect of not getting the Martial fuss:-

Well we've tracked him for some time, Poch wants him per ITK and the press, and Utd, their fans and their ex-players* are all scared he'll come back to haunt them, so there's that. (*Scholes said as much yesterday)

He also seems to be the best bet for Kane cover as a forward that can play wide and central. He's 22, rapid, great dribbler and has a good ratio of goals & assists per minute played, in the PL.

Is he that much of an improvement over son? Just think that unless it is the money might be better used elsewhere.
