If Martial went to Madrid, assuming they could not get Neymar, he would likely be stuck competing with Asencio much in the same way he competes with Rashford at United. They would replace him with a more marquee name the second they could get a deal done. PSG if they sell Neymar I could see wanting him but again they would always be eying a "new Neymar" deal to dump him out the same they did with Moura. In which case is anyone taking bets on 2021 Transfers?

Bayern? Smashing their transfer record for Martial would be a very unlike them move but I would never say never.

I never meant he'd go to Madrid. I meant if Madrid buy Neymar/Mbappe and/or Lewandowski. If Lewandowski goes for £60-70m and Bayern need a replacement they are likely to have to break their transfer record.

Why would Mbappe leave Paris exactly? Can't imagine them selling or him wanting to leave France so young tbh.
Already won everything in France ( some things twice ).

Although I can’t see him going but RM need to replace Ronaldo

Yes but selling Kante would be a monumental Fuck up on their side. We can only hope!

If they sold Kante and Hazard they'd be weaker next season no matter who they signed. Two of the absolute best in their roles. They'd have been bottom half without them last year.

Willian was really good last season as well and theres been a lot of rumours lately of him leaving.

Back on to Martial I get the feeling that Danny boy is waiting for Bale to confirm he is staying at Madrid before playing his cards. He probably has all the ducks in a row but needs the big duck to quack. Then all will fall in to place. Just my onions as some of you say.

I'm not saying it will happen this time but waiting to get ducks lined up has cost us dear in the past. We're in direct competition with clubs that pull the trigger earlier than we do. We've made some fantastic signings but we've also had some dreadful plan B, C and D signings in the past. Hoping 'lessons have been learned'

Yeah I think Chelsea are the biggest wild card here. I know there have been murmurs on here about financial troubles but if they sell Hazard and one or two of Kante, Willian, or Courtois then they'll likely be sitting a ton of cash and a desperate need to maintain the appearance everything is hunky dory.
Which will not be lost on Martial or his people, selling three of those four or even two of those four would say more than any money they get in.
There is a difference between building and just shoring up.

Chelsea are a very strange club.
Why buy drinkwater and Barkley when they sold a good quality youngster (forget his name, chabblah???) and loaned out RLC?

Because they can afford to and it stops rivals from being able to buy players that might improve them. They loan players out all over the place but have no intention of developing them from what I can make out. What I can't fathom out is why players go there in the first place when they have no chance of making it.

Money ? Sufficient to ensure they are made for life even if their career comes to nothing ?

I don’t buy that theory regarding Barkley and drinkwater, they are not the kind of players you sign to stop your rivals signing them imo

Re the “Martial stadium visit” loaded on to ITK - wouldn’t there be up to 3000 physical sightings of said player strolling about oohing and aching?
There's a lot of Stadium walk rounds by all accounts, and they'll all be wearing PPE, I assume after the first few the workman don't pay much attention.
