It sounds positive to me that Martial is at least in the discussion. ITK from different sides of the deal will have a different spin on it. Sounds a bit like me that Levy is setting out his negotiating position.

dunno, but when it comes to a dispute between Mourinho and any other human I'll bet against Mourinho every time. there's a reason he never stays anywhere more than 3 seasons - he's got a toxic personality

No I don’t suspect there are any laws, but I suspect that the £145.18 a week statutory wage puts them off a bit.

Also I remember from Sarris press conference couple days ago, he talked about a discussion with willian saying there is no desire to leave, all happy etc but was clear about courtois and that he would probably leave if they can get a replacement.

By the sounds of it the biggest threat that we don't sign martial will be because of us

We don't have to register our CL squad until after the 31 August transfer deadline so potential clubs will have no idea whether we intend to use them in the CL or not.

I don't buy that at all. There's no way we'd select players for the champions league squad if they don't make the PL squad. They wouldn't be match fit for a start.

Surely we can shift 3 or 4 players out on loan? I’m sure some european clubs are going to bend us over when our window shuts. I don’t have a lot of sympathy though, the clubs agreed to our window shutting early. No idea why we didn’t wait until the rest of Europe do the same next year.
