I could see us sell Toby to Utd without Martial coming this way BUT only if we find another good alternative to Martial. We would have to shift a non HG player to make way anyway so may as well be wantaway Toby.

I don't believe Martial's problem is with United per say but with Mourinho. Hence why lashing out against the club is sensitive.

I think Dier is ideal replacement for Toby but we should get a defensive midfielder. Maybe why we're ok to sell Dembele to free up a non HG spot for a DM. So Toby and Dembele out, DM and Martial/alternative in.

I dont think he did, he just referred to him as a DCM which he is. He usually comes on to add a 2nd defensive option in midfield when we need to tighten up.

Either way, he’s not moving and there is to date some big gaps in that position. He isn’t actually a DCM by trade though

Well everyone has different interpretation for positions. His strengths are all in that protective role and also a reason why we look so defensive when he plays alongside Dier/Wanyama. I think it's fair to say he isn't an attacking midfielder though considering he can't pass or shoot

I'm not convinced Dier is a good enough CB. i thought he was an excellent DCM until the last couple of seasons where I'm not quite sure what has happened to him/I now just don't trust him defensively as attackers seem to ghost past him with ease.
