Would be my least favorite of the three options currently being discussed. Was hoping some Wesley from Club Brugge rumors would come out.

He looks decent. But if we were to go for any Brazilian forward currently plying their trade in Europe, I prefer the look of Hoffenheim's versatile attacker, Joelinton. Tall and rangy, with skill and strength, he looks an interesting player and one who can play across the front line.

I looked him up on transfermarket.de. It says that AS Roma has a 50% sell-on clause and also, that they have buyback options (11 million euros the first two years, then 14.5 million euros in the third year). He moved from Roma to Betis in July 2016, so I guess now would be the third year.

This fella is the pits, albeit haven't seen lots of him compared to some others on here I'm sure, and i may have caught him on some bad days. But on those few showings alone I'd be very disappointed with this. Less enticing than the van der beek link, thankfully shot down by JJ previously. If he could do the same here that'll be grand.

You know one is a midfielder and one is a striker?

Of course SMC. It's the quality and the suitability of the players i am frowning upon, not comparing them like for like.

I'd rather have VDB in the squad than sanabria on the evidence I've seen, but thats like choosing the chair over lethal injection so i really hope we aren't going ti sign either!

Found an Argentinian journo on Twitter with 1,5m followers that reported our interest in Sanabria via Brittish media.

Here's some quotes from the thread:

Jajajajajaj es un sobrevalorado de mierda, tiene pinta de jugador con esos tatuajes y sus movimientos ...Pero a la hora de jugar

Translation: "Hahahahah he's an overrated shit. He looks like a football player with those tattoo's and he's movements, except for when it comes to playing"

Es HORRIBLE, el mayor problema del Betis es su falta de gol y el es su 9
Translation: "He's HORRIBLE, Betis' biggest problem is lack of goals and he's our 9"

Siempre sobrevalorado.
Translation: "Always overrated."

Yeah. I do not know much about either player and I cant say i've seen too much of them... and if i've not heard anything about a player, it usually means they're not very good tbh.

Looking at awesome highlights on youtube, he reminds me of Firminio. Playing for Hoffenheim as well. funny :)

I've learned a new word in Spanish. Sobrevalorado. Like it :playful:

If I remember correctly from the ITK the summer we signed Janssen it was:
Plan A: Morata (didn't want to play behind Kane... which Morata confirmed he spoke to Poch before joining Chelsea)
Plan B: Sanabria (chose Betis for playing time and didn't want to play behind Kane)
Plan C: Janssen (we know how that went)
I might be remembering wrong, but it doesn't surprise me that his name has come up again, especially if Poch has previously had interest and we can now get him at a decent price.

Forgotten about Batshuayi...?
