Only been once, for Wolves v QPR in 2004. Got a freebie. Never really enjoyed it, shitey atmosphere outside the ground and beyond.
It was an away trip, I didn't sit!
But should it make any difference to you a quick scan of my records says on the 15th of May 2004 I sat in area JL6, Row D, seat 159
Were you sitting near to a geezer who looked liked Ian Walker? just where the monitor was?
I trained down from Aberdeen for the game
Yep...
back safe and well...
wearing colours turned out to be ok cos cambridge yellow is the exact same yellow as wolves yellow!
I was at the other end of the ground from the main trouble, which i'm led to believe was started by our supporters... unfortunatly...
some guy lobbed a pie at us from the upper tier but he was hastily ejected (or atleast removed from site)
main concern was when me and my mate were drinking in the least sketchy pub we could find... and wot appeared to be a large number of skinhead Millwall "fans" turned up... we made a hasty exit! (tho they were accompanied pretty much one copper to one fan :lol
thanks for your concern
Wolves fans are shit
really good day out tho!
