8 out of ten. pb for Bill.

But hardly knew any - had to use common sense and guesswork.

7/10 today :(

Got no 2 and no 6 wrong

and i had a search around, but anyone want to tell me why Charlton were searching their fans for that and NOT the obvious answer???

Is this quiz seriously trying to say that the Charlton security DON'T search their fans for guns???? (sorry for the spoiler, but i assumed ALL grounds at least looked out for guns - seems Charlton don't :?)

6 out of 10 today!

over to you BOF!

Well I can see that I'm going to be regularly trounced by you young whippersnappers. It was a measly 5 for me today, although everlong did no better.

Rock, in answer to your question (which I did get right in the quiz), Charlton wanted to stop the confetti being thrown because it created such a mess.

Back in the days when you could stand on the Shelf (zzz), there was someone who used to hurl ripped up newspapers when the teams came out.

It's a shame we have no home game on November 5 (we're away to The TICEM* on Monday 7). I was planning to celebrate Guy Fawkes Night by taking in a ground-to-air missile launcher.

*TICEM = Team I Can't Even Mention. This is the name given to Bolton by a friend of mine who saw them win 2-1 at The Lane last season. He was so incensed with their negative, time-wasting tactics that he won't have their name mentioned in his company again.

and guns don't??? :p

I liked it at the last World Cup - after every match the Japanese or Koreans played in, before everyone left, they all produced bin bags and proceeded to pick up the rubbish around their seat (whoevers it was, it didn't matter) and all took it with them and dumped in massive skips outside the grounds.

By the time the stadium was empty, it was f*ckin spotless - genius.

Like you could get that kind of respect and thoughtful action going en masse over here... :|

You could if you gave all the stewards guns, Rock!

10 out of 10 for me today :D

Are you kidding me, Spursbloke? That's top banana. I'm ignoring Rock, as second time around most people could get 10  .

I weighed in with 8 today, got the Lehman and Banks questions wrong. Like I'm going to waste my life memorising where the Gooners buy their players from :) .

Actually counted the number of World Cups on my fingers. Had to go round twice - really tricky.

I see Stallone is making Rambo XIV and Rocky XXXV. Why no Escape To Victory II?

Well yeah, there is that Fordy - but come on! They had a Poseidon Adventure II and the bloody thing sank in the first one!

Work with me on this one, guys!

Anyone got any good plot ideas?

Or even bad ones?

Escape to Victory II: The Rematch!

A mixed group of European special forces are trapped behind enemy lines in the Persian Gulf, after their insertion craft sank 9 miles off shore. Now, stuck alone with no communications and only a football for protection, they have to complete their mission and get out of there with their lives.

Breaking into a top secret military base, they steal the secret files and hide them inside Edgar "I'm only an electrician" Davids bionic optical implant transformer unit, but their escape is blocked by the evil 11-man-army The Abrahamovichski Family. They are forced into a game of life or death, but the opposing captain suddenly turns on his team and destroys them all with hammers, then reveals himself to be Sylvester Stallones characters son!!

With their team complete, the squad leave a trail of destruction in their wake as they dribble, nutmeg, head and shoot their way through hordes of bad dudes, all dressed in stereotypically evil black and blue metallic outfits.

Starring:

David Beckham as Skip
Michael Owen as Nipper
Edgar Davids as Jah Pitbull
Terry Henry as VaVaVoominator
Some random Scandenavians
and
Marky Mark Whalberg as Son Of The Keeper

i'd watch it :D

Excellent, Rock!

I'm fairly sure that you could get everlong to play the "insertion craft" .

Do I get an invite to the premiere?
