Noticed a thread on Red Cafe criticising premier league atmosphere at grounds. Same shit said on here.

Live too far away to watch Spurs live.
But I watch two of my grandchildren( 13 year olds)
who play in the same team
every week in their local junior league games
Wouldn't miss it for the world.
Go to all their training sessions 2/3 times a week too.
My 4th. year as taxi driver and cheerleader for them both.

I wasn't sure that I would get to many games this season but have managed to see the majority at Wembley. I wish I had got a season ticket but didn't think I would be able to make so often. I drive up from Bournemouth so it is a big commitment, especially mid-week as I don't generally get home before 1am and sometimes as late as 2am and as I have to leave for work in the morning at 6:40. I know there is no chance of a season ticket for the new stadium as I am miles down the waiting list and I don't know whether tickets will be as easy to come by. I have really enjoyed the chance to see so many games, although some have been bloody awful! So rather than losing interest mine has gone the other way and the more I have been, the more I want to, although if I can only get tickets for the 'shit-park-the-bus' teams, I will lose that enthusiasm pretty quickly!

Only good thing about Wembley is that I can take beers to my seat.

Bad feeling about the new ground but we shall see. Atleast we have the pubs.

I can hardly afford to go to the pub anymore let alone wembley. Been twice this season but tbh i'm happy enough watching it in doors on a stream with a couple of cans.

Will get to the lane a couple of times next season obviously.

I think cost is s big factor. Used to go to the Europa League loved it. Guaranteed atmosphere with 1882 there, <£20 ticket with a random European rival than a park your bus Stoke.

Have avoided Wembley because of atmosphere issues, suspect I'll be back for the new WHL. It's all about the atmosphere and cost for me.

Ultimately you get a better view on TV, can watch it with mates and a pint in hand without the hassle of getting to/from and a 75% chance I'll be hungover so in no mood for travel for a weekend fixture and then weeknights got fed up of the long journeys home.

<£20, able to get a ticket before the game and good atmosphere at the new ground and I'll be there but I suspect the tourists will be snapping up all the £60 tickets :(

Always preferred european away games. Go for a few days and treat it as a mini holiday. Great atmosphere.

The Fiorentina game was a good example a few years back. Cracking atmosphere and 4-1 win...i think.

On a more serious note, i am very lucky that i can afford to go, have a season ticket and will forever be grateful for being so lucky given that fact.

I grew up being taken to games as a kid, had a brief time away from the Club and then got my first season ticket in or around 1980. It's not cheap and as time goes on will become something only the higher middle class will be able to afford.

I am a lucky (or unlucky) given the fact that i have never had kids, so through all those years i can be selfish, but not the case for the vast majority. What i would say is that there are millions who support the Club who have never and will never go to a live game but they are as important to the club as those who do go, are more in number and just as passionate.

COYS!

My mum used to work for Holsten Pils when they were our sponsor. Got to go to a few free games as a kid through that.

When I was 18 I became travelling obsessed. So my time in England was working and saving to go abroad.

Since I have been in London I have never had the money to go to more than a couple of games a year.

I enjoy the games but don't think I can justify the time or expense to go regularly.

Got a bronze membership but only been to two (NLD & Juventus) this season.

Just don't get that excitement to go to matches anymore

I was full of intent on going to 10+ games this season, as it worked out more cost effective for me, especially taking my lad as well.
I haven't been since Barnsley in the cup...
Trains home became a completely nightmare, and actually the cost of tickets etc wasn't so great after all.

Now I'm caught in two minds as to whether or not to take up a membership for next season.
Best part of £40/50 and will probably only get to one game...

The club aren’t fussed about core supporters getting priced out/disillusioned/too busy to go to games, as they know the tourist market will now make up for it.

My main worry is success that can be fleeting and so can the tourist dollar - and whilst I see lots of kids being brought along with parents on the various family day type games, what I don’t see is many young people who will form the next generation of lifers at the games, which is almost certainly down to price (we do also have a gap in the 15-30 age bracket I think, mainly due to us being crap when that generation was picking their team).

I’d really like to see the club do more, and more extensively reduced, tickets for different age groups.

Football is rotten.

Financial doping of clubs like Man City - who would be no where near Spurs in size, is ruining football.

Our owners have not helped by their disgusting pitch on season tickets for a club with only small chance if winning league.

It’s all a mess and I will pick and chose games.
