I was a mascot once. It was lovely getting to share the Referee's changing room. He even gave me a bath before hand, which was nice of him. Then he helped me slip into my freshly pressed kit.

Aaah. . the memories.

Repped. Easily the funniest thing I've read on this site.

Do all the macots get to have a kickabout with the players? Seems unfair for just one of them to do it?

Love one of mine little 'uns to be a mascot at the Lane.
As far as mascots go, surely the kid who pulled the moody handshake on Stevie Gerrard (who got the proper 'ump) in the tunnel live on Sky, has to be the best ever!!!

The funniest part about that for me is that every time I watch a game on tv with my wife (American, like me, but didn't grow up watching football) she makes some reference to the mascots and how they make everyone look like child molesters.

My son was mascot for the Birmingham game.
As he was the smallest he led the team onto the pitch with Robbie Keane and had a kickabout on the pitch with the players.
The best thing was that the game was on Sky so we will have the film of him down the tunnel etc for all his life.

Money so well spent, once in a lifetime experience and we received brilliant pictures from the club aswell.
Owen was really nervous beforehand ( hes only 4 ) but walked onto the pitch with his shoulders high and looked like he owned the place, very confident and proud.
