The BBC just can't bring themselves to praise Spurs on a decent away win in the CL, phrases like 'rode their luck' and 'Spurs' only clear chances in the game' expose their attitude towards us. You can imagine if Liverpool or Man Ure had played and won in identical fashion, the write up would be a whole lot different.

In Liverpool's case they would write that Liverpool have maintained their unbeaten start in the CL with two draws.

Personally I prefer the press to leave us as the underdogs. Nothing they say will make a difference. We got the win needed and that's all that matters.

We know we could have made it easier but we also had a bunch of player out there playing in different positions and most of our first team out injured.

It seems like a pretty reasonable write-up to me. Apoel played well and unlucky not to score. I think the fact they say that Kane scored with his first three chances is more to highlight how clinical he is more than anything.

We (as fans) do seem to go on a lot about how biased the media are against us. I really can't see it myself. I presume fans of all clubs have the same paranoia?

Am I the only person that thought that glen hoddle spent the whole of the match trying to tell all and sundry what was wrong with the spurs display in fact he was trying to coach the viewer on the rights and wrongs of spurs and in his view mostly wrongs.
I found his know all commentary insulting and arrogance to the point I wanted to turn the sound off; know all big headed twat

Real Madrid beat them at home 3-0 and we win away 3-0,
not saying we will beat Madrid but you never know, :)

winning 3-0 away any day is a great result but not for some people or media.
