The moment chosen by Ramos to comment on Spurs business will be the occasion that our English press will interpret his words to whatever they wish to write about our sorry season so far.

He just needs time to get his feet warm in the club, I'm sure we will be hearing from our new leader very soon.

There is the obvious possibility that our defending has been so bad that he is simply speechless. I'd go with that one me thinks.

would you want to talk about our defence - think we should chip in for a pair or non slip boots for daws and robbo?

If tottenham want to win the PR battle following Martin Jol's messy departure from White Hart Lane, they would do well to stump up for a interpreter for their new head coach, Juande Ramos.

The Spaniard was unavailable for comment after his first taste of Premier League action for the simple reason that the club had forgotten to bring a translator, though it was not difficult to read the former Sevilla manager's thoughts as he walked into his technical area in the sixth minute and stayed there for the rest of the game waving his arms in a state of increasing agitation.

We are a shambles.

We are a shambles.

so why Poyet is here ?

but looks like Ramos loves to make direct touch with the players and i can't see that wrong by him or the club for this .. the wrong things starting from the media as they quickly talked about it but that isn't new stoy as they always like write negative things about us.

what a load of shit.

Poyet is the designated 'press talker' of the 'coaching team' untill Ramos is more comfortable with the language. it's as simple as that.

His English isn't the best yet, but I am sure he will learn English quite quickly. We have quite a few English players at the Club.

I am also looking forward to hearing Ramos speaking english to the media.

I think he has been smart, staying away. At the moment his English isn't great and the way our media work, he makes one little slip up and they will pounce on it and rip it to shreds.
