Are we going to hear from Ramos?

We are a shambles.

What an absolute BAG OF BOLLOCKS this is.

Both of his First Team coaches speak perfect English, why the FUCK would we need a translator?

Ever thought, perhaps, that we finally have a coach that has more sense than to spend half his life infront of the cameras and worry about what the press think about him?

Bloody hell. All I wanted to know is his thoughts on the Boro game. Fuck all to do with the media.

He made it very clear that he wouldn't be speaking to the media until his English had improved. The reasons should be obvious. You'd save yourself a lot of grief if you simply followed what's been going on.

It would be better if NO managers and players talked to the media. When was the last time anyone said anything insightful. In most cases they just highlight their poor education.

When will Ramos speak?

When do we actually get to see Ramos interviewed on TV?
It's been a strange one this time around as it hasnt really set in that we have Ramos as manager because we havent seen him speak. Fair enough Poyet is there for now, but you'd think Ramos would have a go here and there?!
There's not even one on Spurs TV which is a shocker.

I think it's been good actually - helped to calm the media frenzy a little after Jol's exit. I'm happy for him to get on with coaching and stay away from our scumbag media for a while until his English improves.

Ramos made it crystal clear that he would be speaking English to the players, but not to the media until his fluency had improved. Phrases useful on the training field (e.g. 'You fucking wusses! Get down and gimme fifty!') might not go down too well at a press conference.

Some people really should try and keep up.

Who gives a fuck whether Juande speaks or not? His squad are starting to speak for him, and that's the language I want to see!!!!

Christ, next we'll have people wanting him to 'smile more' a la Comolli and Berbs...and when that happens, I shall suggest those moaners stop going to the Lane and instead visit the nearest fucking circus where for 2 hours they can be guaranteed smiling clowns by the minute...as for the idiot who said we were a 'shambles' you, mate, really need to look around for that clue you need...

The fact that we forgot to bring a translator wasn't shambolic?

Comolli is fluent in English and Spanish. So is Poyet. Alvarez is pretty comfortable with English. What is your point?

And what, exactly, do you expect to hear? Haven't you figured out yet that what managers/coaches say to the press/public is just a load of clichés? It's what they say to the players that matters, and that we don't get to hear.

And how much revealing stuff did we get from Jol in three years?

Everything goes through the club's PR machine. It's more efficient than the army's. Have you no idea how things work in modern football? We are not going to get any deep insights into tactical thinking, no, 'X is on his way out if he doesn't get his arse into gear pronto.' It's the same old bland bullshit from every manager, every club, except for blaming the ref, which I don't want to hear, ta very much, or stupid mind-games. There won't be any deep insights.
