I was open minded when he joined but didn't expect him to do so much in such a short space of time. It would have been hard to be worse than Ramos but to get so much more out of the same players shows a fantastic motivating ability. He's also used the squad well, incorperating player like Bentley, Pavlyuchenko, Crouch, Kaboul and he's shown good tactic skills in the defeats of Arsenal, Chelsea and City. Add the fact that he actually signed a defensive midfielder, sorted the left hand side, achieved numerious records for point, defence and victories...

He's the best manager we've had for years and years and years.

He's the best manager we've had for years and years and years.

Everything that was wrong with our team, he's corrected. Whenever there is a new problem, it's quickly identified and sorted. When he makes an error in the line-up, he doesn't get all proud and stubborn about it, he accepts his mistake and quickly changes it the next game (Ekotto/kaboul RB). The players love him as he treats them fairly with no favourites, it's all on merit and if you're not playing you know it's because you're not performing or it genuinely is because of a specific line-up needed to compete against a particular team.

The nightmarish all-round defensive problems we had - gone. The defending set-piece problem we had - gone. The giving away goals of long range goals - gone. The lack of steel in MF - gone. Crap corners - gone. Narrow football - gone. Left sided problem - gone. Miserable away form - gone. Lack of balance in the squad - gone. The lack of blooding of young players or taking a chance with talented reserve players - gone. Lack of goals from midfield and other players in other positions - gone. Lack of confidence - gone. There's probably more and I could go on, but this guy deserves a place in our 'legendary handbook' for what he's done since coming here when we were truly on our knees in all respects.

He has done an amazing job and for doing what he's done - whatever his image is a a del-boy or whatever - he's literally performed miracles with us in a very short time and brought us...I can't even believe I'm saying it as it sounds so surreal...Champions League football... wow, still can't believe it,let me just say that again...Champions League football...mmmmm feels so good!

And it's nice for once to have all your mates congratulating you and respecting your team and conceding that you deserved it.

P.S let's not forget Jordan, Bond, Les, Allen, Sherwood, Park, what a job they have done.

Well done Arry brilliant Job. As I've said in another thread it's brilliant to have an ENGLISH manager managing an English team in the Champions League

Was going to start a thread on this, but a quick search revealed there already was one.

Just read an article that appeared on newsnow from someone defending Harry Redknapp against some of the usual criticisms (wasn't a good article by any manner of means) but with all the talk of how we need a new striker, it's refreshing that, in my opinion, we definitely don't need a new manager. Personally I am delighted with the job Redknapp is doing.

I heard that he's shit. I mean..we lost to Everton so it must be true. Sack him and bring back Santini.

Alternatively he may well be the best manager we've had in years. Understands the club philosophy. Understands the players. Provides tangible evidence that the door is never closed to those that are willing to make the effort. Brings in the right players (Gallas) rather than popular players. Makes the best of players that he didn't sign and that are difficult to fit in (Modric/VDV).

Did I mention that his wife has a better finish than Darren Bent?

Best manager since Burkinshaw. Fantastic record, I think he has a winning record of around 50%. I really wish he'd get the same affection as Jol did, instead of this "I don't like Redknapp, but he's done well" attitude. You gotta love 'Arry, the way he's guided players like Bale and Modric is incredible. Master tactician he is not, but hey, we don't need a Ramos or a Rafa, we've got our man.

I love Harry. He can talk some bollocks, but can't we all?

I can't for the life of me understand why some fans still have a problem with him?! I was over the moon the moment the news broke of his arrival and he has gone on to prove what a fantastic manager he is. My wife has met him, as well as several colleagues of mine and they all say the same things about what a lovely fella he is and how he's got time for everyone, happy to stop and have a chat etc...

Top bloke and a quality manager who is well on his way to taking this Club to glory! Just hope England don't come calling any time soon!!

I just posted in another thread that I did trust Harry and it dawned on me how much this phrase is thrown about these days...."in harry we trust" etc.

But it got me thinking how fickle some fans can be, particularly after a defeat when every decision Harry makes is questioned.

But the simple truth is that Harry has brought Spurs up to a level that was only ever dreamed of before on this board. He is our most successful manager for many, many years. He brought us CL football, top of a very tough group, and a mouthwatering tie against AC Milan. We are 4th at the moment....at the expense of Chelsea of all teams! It is also very clear to me that Harry loves our club. He did all this by making plenty of decisions that were derided by a lot of fans.

Right now I would want for no other man at the helm. In Harry I trust!

I think he likes finally being at a big club with ambitions, a club were we can finally try and compete against the likes of Sir Alex but i don't think he loves Tottenham Hotspur

I think he would reject England to stay with us. He gets us playing the football we want and right now we are everything we want our team to be: daring, attacking and above all winning. The attitude is if we do not win then at least we failed fighting in style.

Im sure Bill Nick would have been proud.

I would never begrudge Harry the Engand job. It obviously means a lot to him. I think he would be amazing.
