Good article above.

I know I will get trashed for this, but I'm not too bothered.

I don't particularly like Redknapp, and I think he's a little out of his depth. He has done well, especially last season, and has kind-of identified what was wrong with the squad he inherited. I think in the longer-term he needs to be replaced - it might sound harsh now, but the table flatters to deceive. He'll do a job, like we have seen, and he has done more than just 'wallpaper over the cracks', but the decor is still average.

This is no kneejerk reaction - it's been clear since the Everton, Villa (away) matches and especially the Liverpool game to me.

To the haters...I'll happily explain in-depth when I get home from work.

Until then, happy reading.

You certainly will get trashed, yes.

I can kind of see where he's coming from though while not necessarily agreeing.

I'm fine with how we've done this year, pretty pleased on the whole, but I definitely empathise with the 'not warming to Redknapp' stuff. Every time I hear him interviewed I cringe, guy needs to shut his mouth more. But wouldn't want him replaced

Perhaps a little hasty as Harry has done a fantastic job at Spurs so far. However, I have always wanted Guus Hiddenk as Spurs' manager.

Guus will not come to Spurs because of his links to Abramovich.

I heard from someone who knows someone at Spurs that another former Chelski manager will be in England Tuesday or Wednesday to speak to the club. I think it's probably bollocks though, DL wouldn't want to make the same error as when club representatives were seen talking to Ramos.

I like Harry, and I wouldnt want his tenure with us to end in a negative way.

However, Hiddink is the muts nuts and I have no doubt, given time, he would do a better job than Harry. Footballs a business at the end of the day and there is no room for sentiment.

Hiddink is a a class act, but is highly unlikley to be interested in us with possible jobs at Liverpool, Citeh, and United around the corner.

Also, Harry wasn't so tactically clueless when we beat his Chelsea team 1-0 last year.

Don't let Harry hear you say that...

I do think he is out of his depth a little though, as illustrated by just buying players from an inferior club as he knows them...

Our wage structure and transfer policy would prevent Hiddink accepting a job here.
Hiddink is geared up to taking over at a top team with everything in place. At his age and experience, I doubt whether he could be bothered with all the hassle that accompanies the Spurs Manager

Are you really though. It has been a topsy-turvy season, and everybody has dropped points, but we should be 10 points better off than where we are now. Foor the majority of the season our squad has been stronger than Arsenal's and Liverpool's.

Supporting Spurs at the moment is a complete lucky dip - like going on a blind date with a hottie but when you get home and peel her clothes off you discover she has saggy boobs.

I have a sneaky feeling Harry will step aside in the summer and semi-retire from Management, even if we win the FA Cup. Expect him to coach GB in the Olympics.

well, it's been almost 18 months, must be time for a new one.

Hiddink - yeah dream on. Maybe he would bring Kaka and Essien with him.

Harry has done fantastic with this squad, Yes it has its flaws but he knows what needs addressing and will address this in the summer I hope. We play some lovely attacking football much like the 'old spurs' way.

its pathetic people are calling for his head when we are a point off 4th, some of you are so stuck in the 60's thinking Spurs are some massive club who's divine right it is to be in the top 4.
its about time some so called 'fans' stopped embarrassing this club with calls for the managers head when we don't win the league.
So what we get Guus in, spend another 2 years 'building' a squad going through a transitional season then when we don't get the required success move onto the next big hot shot who will win spurs the league that our massive club deserves?

have a day off and go take your frustrations out on our your right hands.

I don't understand how the article can suggest that Harry may have taken us as far as he can. He only arrived last season for god sake. And guess what? We're doing better than last season. So who's to say we wont do better again next season?
I do think he is out of his depth a little though, as illustrated by just buying players from an inferior club as he knows them...
Isn't that what we've been doing for many years now? I don't recall too many players signed from the top clubs. Aside from Giovani, but he isn't a big star.

Yeah lets get Klinsmann, he done a super job at Bayern....

Now I am not in favour of Klinsmann or any other manager replacing Harry - we are still in a good position, however, Klinsmann's stats are not bad as a manager if you were just assuming that his short spell at Bayern was disastrous.

Yeah lets get Klinsmann, he done a super job at Bayern....

There was context in his failure at Bayern, he wanted to change to whole institutional structure and mentality of the club. Unfortunately several of the powerful people in the club kicked back and reisisted the changes, it became a hugely political game.

Hiddink has had failures in his career too...

It would pretty naive of the Spurs hierarchy not to have at least considered a plan B if Harry's liitle run in with Her Majesty's Revenue & Customs "goes nuclear". I'd hope it amounts to little more than them jotting names on a bit of paper though and not flying out to foreign climes to meet people as happened in the Ramos fiasco.

I don't want Harry to go but Hiddink would be on my list of about 4 or 5 managers that may have been able to improve on what he has already achieved.
