Thankyou for that minesadouble.

That was a wonderful read, and thankyou so much for sharing with us all.

I spent the match in the comapny of my sister, brother in law and there young kids, who are all Arsenal. Over the years I haven't had much to shout about, but on staurday it was just poetry. I had there kids jumping in my face as the first and second goals went in, anf then it was my turn, with my 22 month old son Liam jumping around the room with me as the 3rd 4th and 5th goals went in for us.

That for me was a beautiful moment, and the wonderful time that my boy has already shared with me in his short, Yiddo (he will be one) life. Man City away last may, Inter Milan, a few short weeks ago and now this.

I love being a spurs fan.

I'm reminded of when I went to a four-team pre-season tournament at Wembley at the start of the season when we signed Gazza and Paul Stewart. We were playing the enemy and I went with my gooner brother-in-law.

They murdered us. It was 4-0 and we were terrible. The only saving grace was that I got the tickets and my bro-in-law had to restrain himself. He clapped politely when they got their first but the resulting mutterings of the surrounding neanderthals meant that he just had to sit and watch when the others went in. It was the only thing that prevented the day from being a complete disaster.

I like your experience much better, minesadouble. Thanks for posting it.

Mines a double - always look forward to hearing your perspective on games - when we beat Man City your post was the icing on the cake and here you are again.

A double what? If you're ever in my local, it's on me.

Great post mate, put a smile on my face not as large as the smile when Gazzas free kick went in at Wembley but a smile all the same.
