Premier League champions or not, 100k for Leicester is dangerous money to be offering a single player. You don't want to start offering players big contracts and then end up slipping down the table.

Anyone know who their highest earner was at the start of the 15/16 season?

They're owned by a billionaire and in the Champions League, they should be OK. Especially if they don't go out signing £30m players.

To be clear, the rumour that he's rejecting Arsenal is from Wenger himself. It could be that he's just keeping things close too his chest. The clip where he revealed the news looked like community tv

I can't blame him. In a few season he will be filthy rich, have played in the CL and retire a hero and legend forever and have the key to the city.

Or he could go to arsenal, warm their bench and be blamed as an expensive flop if they don't win the league. Tough choice.

Surprised he chose to remain and shunned #Lexit. I expected him to take the money at Arsenal... although bet he got a big raise at Leicester. It's going to spark a gooner 'we can't even sign a one season wonder' meltdown, which will be funny.

It seems a long deal. 4 years for someone nearly 30 who relies almost entirely on his pace. I'm interested how Leicester get on next season, especially if they keep their entire squad and add to it. Hopefully mid table with the added pressure of champions league

Shame. Think be bottled it through fear of being shown up as an average player at best.

Either that or someone told him Ozil is Muslim.
