I have nothing new to add from two weeks ago! :(

Suffice it to say I want us to put out a strong team in order to beat the Gunners as this match is a realistic opportunity for us to get some silverware. The only surprise addition I would make is play Gazzaniga instead of Lloris, as this game goes straight to penalties if it is a draw after 90 minutes.

Gazzaniga in my opinion has proven he is a better penalty stopper than Lloris. At the very least keep him and use as the 3rd substitute if after 85 mins or so we are at a stalemate and heading to penalties.

[Edit] I just watched Poch's pre game press conference and he stated the same idea with regards to Gazzaniga, but whether or not he plays him is a different story

Strangely calm here in my head.
.
Think it is gonna be a battle out there tonight.
.
Maybe a good thing Dier is out of this one. Strong side and shit or bust. Need pride restored please.

Just win, don't care how. Just win. Especially with all the Poch to United crap being spouted hourly.

Want our fans to sing he's magic all night. Show him how much we love him.

So starts our punishing run of games.

Understandable if he rotates, would love to see KWP and Skipp again. Gazza is between the sticks tonight - confirmed yesterday I think.

An ugly win is still a win and with Everton at the weekend, I'd take an ugly 1-0 in a heartbeat!

hoping for one of those games were we are simply better. up for it as it's a derby, but want to watch us execute a game-plan and dispatch them. One of those games where not a lot happens then bish, bash, bosh a cleanly executed move puts us ahead. rinse and repeat.

Poch (esp in his book) references that 75% of it is mentality, to win, to execute the plan as intended. Think if we do that we steam-roll them.

I can see KWP and sanchez coming in place of trippier and vertonghen who is now out. Midfield will have winks in and i guess skipp or sissoko and then Son and eriksen starting. I assume Kane as well because it's Arsenal. I would not mind lamela as well so he can kick some lumps out of Arsenal, he always likes a scrap.

its like always get close... and then crumble.
usually we will dominate the first half. 3 or 4 sitters missed. come out in the 2nd half looking like shit then get sucker punch at the 78th minute.

subs in kane and the rest and make a surge but not enough at the end,

Apparently the teams
are coming out
to that old favourite
of yesteryear

'Yes we have no bananas
we have no bananas today'

I should think not.

Me too, although my calmness could be antihistamine induced as I'm suffering from a severe cold.
