Chelsea is the bigger rivalry now...although Arsenal is still a huge game and a big rivalry.

For you maybe, not for me and all my mates that grew up in North London during the 90’s and suffered those gooners when we were shit.

I know very few Chelsea fans and my mates are split between spurs and a few Gooners.

NLD is the biggest rivalry all day long for me

I hear you...but:

Who stole Arnesen?

Who had a 30 year (ish) unbeaten run against us?

Who used to beat us 4-0 home and away every year?

Who turned Modric's head?

Who dumped us out of the CL by winning it?

Who beat us in the League cup final?

Who beat us in two of our last 3 FA cup semi finals?

Who stopped us winning the title one year and then beat us to the title the following year?

So glad we have the Southampton game on Wednesday, need to get this defeat out of our system quickly.

Arsenal will always be our biggest rivals, nothing will ever change that.

If the field was as level now as it was then I believe we would be winning trophies as we are very well run.
Yes, we are a very well run club and I think Levy is the best chairman in the PL.

However, Joe Lewis is not giving us the financial backing we need to make it a level playing field.

For comparison, Liverpool’s owners have a net worth of $2.5b, whereas Joe Lewis is worth $5b. Liverpool just spent over £100m supporting Klopp. Why can’t Joe Lewis do that for Poch?

What were people’s thoughts on Hugo's performance particularly for goal 2?

I think it was just a great goal that was hit insanely early but my dad was absolutely scathing that Hugo didn’t really attempt a save.
Looked unstoppable to me. Just a brilliant strike.

Trouble is when like last week we have a cracking win especially over a main rival it gets mentioned that we don't need additions to the squad, but win, lose or draw the team is lacking in certain areas which require investment hopefully in the summer.
It is a disappointing result today especially as the team were shit in the same fixture last year but at the start of the season I said 5th or 6th is where the club would finish without the investment and I still think that is the case, but we have a home game against Southampton mid week so a chance to get back amongst it again.

Additions, sugar daddy and spending millions doesn't mean we're going to win every game or trophies. Last week showed that even with this squad and the right setup, tactics and decision making, we are able to compete against almost anyone. I do agree that yearly additions are important, but they aren't the be and end all.

Mate, that's your opinion and I respect that, but for me and many others the NLD is the biggest and I certainly hate the Goons more than Chelsea or Wet Spam (although I hate all of them).
I could start to highlight them moving from South into our territory, winning promotions when finishing lower than us in the league, David Dein being so involved at the FA, Ian Wright, Sol Campbell, Thierry Henry's knee slide in front of us after scoring and running the length of the pitch.

Depends what equity Joe Lewis has I suppose. I don't think we can just look at his worth and assume he has all that to spend.

The first two things you mentioned happened c 100 years ago...I focus more on things that have happened in our lifetime. Sol moved there more than 15 years ago and yes Henry is a C...but he long since lost relevance to modern football.

As opposed to our goal of?
well, weve delivered on that goal for a while now so once we're in our shiny new home im hopeful that the club backs the manager to mount a title challenge. Despite yesterdays debacle im confident that we're still ahead of them in achieving that goal.
