Worst thing we could do is try to see the game out (or lose!). If anything, we need to push harder for another goal. With a touch more composure at the back, i.e. no silly passing about. But got to be chuffed with that first half. Manic.

The yellows for Dier and Verts are a worry. That and the fact that every time they play direct (every time they get the ball) they appear to be in behind us.

How we’re winning this I will never know. Poch needs to sort them out a bit.

Why did Dier get a yellow ?

Unfortunately the way we are being cut open so easily I can’t say I’m confident of us hanging on. The good thing though is arsenal also look shite at the back. A question of which attack can outdo the other second half.

Better second half to the half, but we were lucky to be still in it. If we go with a back 5 - bring on Alderweireld or put Dier there, I don't mind which - we'll negate most of the problems they're causing us.

Aurier needs someone experienced along side him. I like Foyth, but Aurier really worries me.

On the occasions we beat their press they look really vulnerable. Thing is we also look open and are struggling to link the midfield and the attack. Sissoko has been great recently but he's getting too far forward and leaving loads of space behind, while also isn't a reliable outball so we're forced to go long. I think we need to sacrifice his running for a bit of control and cuteness in Winks - it'll be less of a lottery and we can actually get Alli, Eriksen and Kane in the game.
I really wouldn't be surprised if that will be the first sub from us.

Reckon Arsenal will start the second half in the same manner. So we need to be much more composed and ready

Some half. Eventful

We shouldn’t be ahead but this Spurs team has some mettle. They look dangerous out wide, particulary down Aurier’s flank but we look equally as dangerous whenever we get in their box.

This ain’t staying 2-1.

Well I missed the first half thanks to pointless fucking road closures on the A3, so am slightly fucked off to have missed our goals... I did predict a classic mind.

Really loved the way that we've coolly played the ball out from the back this half. Going to get some more toilet paper for the second half:nailbiting:

Phew. Proper derby to be fair. We haven't really played well but we have the quality up front to hurt any team, no matter the situation.

We absolutely have to keep our heads cool more often though.

Worst ten minutes
of the season to start.
Gritty afterwards.
Might just win it now.
Not losing has to be the aim.

I don't know whether it would be worth going to 3 CBs, maybe by bringing Winks on in the middle and dropping Dier back at first. Then if Jan looks to be skating on thin ice or they start targeting Foyth, get Toby on. Not sure who I'd take off to facilitate the change of shape though.

Getting to half time 2-1 was crucial.

Tottenham of old would have capitulated with that first 20 minutes. But this is Pochettino's Tottenham! We have steel and resilience.
