Was dreading this game if I'm honest. Think it's a game too far for us in terms of the week we've had.

Poch's got this really wrong but in his defence he's had three huge games to manage. Although I think Toby should def have started if he's ok.

When you don’t play with any natural central midfielders - e.g. a player who can receive the ball under pressure and relieve it - against an organised and aggressive pressing side, this is the result.

But Poch had his warning in the first half and didn’t react. Even after we went 4-2 down, and he finally makes subs, it’s changes that don’t remedy the issue - the lack of control in the centre.

Our defenders had no outball all game, and yet we insisted on goalkicks being played short.

The game was crying out for Winks.

Everyone's been shit but Poch has to shoulder the blame. His selection neutered our attack, took the confidence out of our defence and surrendered midfield control. Then to compound his shit tactics he didn't make any changes when we fluked a lead.

Can't remember a worse day from him.

Losing midfield control is not on him. We don't have enough quality there and we will always lose it with any team selection against teams like City, Liverpool and Arsenal. Also good luck against Barcelona in CL with our set of midfielders.

anyone else feel like they've been watching a car crash in slow motion?
I need a seriously good hot chocolate , and box set to recover from watching that.

Correct me if I'm wrong but Verts and Foyth had never partnered one another until today, right?

Totally unfair to put this on Foyth.

It’s not his fault Poch decided not to start our most experienced CB pairing and inexplicably failed to make any subs until we’d conceded 4.

Really disappointed by this today, think Poch got it completely wrong starting Foyth.

Just don't get it, we have Alderweireld and Vertonghen, best CB pairing in the league.

Tried to be a bit too cute with the rotation, yet stuck with dele and siss who had to work really hard in midfield against Chelsea and inter.

strange management

What pisses me off is Torreira is exactly the sort of player we have been needing for two seasons now and they bought him for 25 mil. Arsenal look so much better then us and not just in this game. Except for Chelsea we have been poor this season.

What’s annoyed me more than anything is how long it took to make a change when the momentum swung away. And then when we did, the changes were utter bullshit. Taking Alli and Son off. It was never going to change the game.

I wanted Aurier to be given a run of games but he's completely lost his head here, poor performance and he's lucky Trippier is Injured because I doubt he'd be getting many more opportunities after today otherwise.
