I think Poch is a great coach, but yet again he's too naive in an away game against a top 6 team. When you play against a team who has a pacy striker like Auba up front, you can't use a high line like we did. It's suicide. Poch needs to learn that if we're going to take the next step.

It is a frustrating result but we clearly did not research the fact they are a 2nd half team. No organisation in that second half.

We are still a better team than them, we can at least go to a big team away and get a win, something I can’t see them doing. And for that reason I think we will finish above them again. Big run coming, time to go on a big winning run for us and get points on the board over a busy period.

If I hear Neville say how shocked he is at Arsenal’s 100mph performance again I think I’ll go insane.

They do this every year - we are their cup final, just like West Ham. They always go at us at a million percent and it’s the only game all season where their fans make any noise.

This result and performance were incredibly predictable.

We looked poor in that second half.

Fair play to them, as sickening as it is, they were the better team.

We want to be a top side but wont until we learn to manage games properly.... got to go on a run now and get some points onboard to get clear in that race for top 4 before we have to play the "top" sides again as we have played them all now

I'm not reading into it too much. Arsenal did this last season. They can get up for it. They outplayed us and beat us to every ball. We have a great set of games coming up. We should get some serious points from them.

Yeah it's just the way we lost today that's angered me. Most important thing is that we now push on and try to pick up consecutive wins. Arsenal always play better when at home and with ferocious home support like today but they will not be like that every week. It's just a bit too tight up there currently for my liking.

Its an accumulation of things. Poor team selection ulitmately set the tone. That and players that should be stepping up and maintaining their form failed to show up (Aurier and Davies). All this and Poch refuses to budge on his mistake. We still would have had a chance at 2-2 if he brought on Toby and Winks earlier.

I’m taking this game as just a blip. We know that we can play much better and usually do play much better. We probably missed the calmness of Toby at the back.

Man City are too strong for us to overtake this season. Our target, realistically, is to qualify for CL next season and we’re still on track for that, despite today’s result.

You know after today’s result we’re literally not on track to qualify for the CL right?

we've got southampton at home on wednesday, so why not rest Toby for that game, a game we could cope without him? Why rest him for this game? Makes no sense! Goons would've been very pleased to see Toby out and a young inexperienced Foyth in.

add to the fact that Jan has played barely 30 mins in 2 months and I not sure if he has ever partnered with Foyth before and the whole thing is just baffling.

this is not being wise after the event either since most people said it at 1pm when the line outs came out.

we handed the initiative to them before KO, then couldn't gain composure when under pressure and gifted them 3 goals with stupid stupid errors.

FFS Poch, love you loads but sometime you just kill me.

evening ruined, week ruined, chanukah ruined !

rant over, i'm going to make a cup of tea

Everyonr slagging off Poch and Dier and Sissoko etc. Last week we were singing their praises. You are telling me they are good enough to play midfield against Chelsea but not Arsenal? The team selection was not the problem, yes Toby for Foyth (or Jan I would have thought as just back from a long injury) maybe, but other than that it is the team that murdered Chelsea. For whatever reason we just did not show up. We got lucky in the first half and got what we deserved in the second.

Lets just put this down to a bad day. Roll on Wednesday and back to winning ways.

8 points behind City now is my biggest concern. Cant see us overturning that.

End of the day there's not too much to take from it, we've been to Anfield, Stamford Bridge, Old Trafford, Juventus and stood up toe to toe with them. Theres some kind of mental lapse going to Arsenal that we can't get over idk why

Either Poch has dropped a bollock or Toby really wasn't 100%, as playing Foyth who has still got at least one mistake in him every game and Verts who's clearly not match fit, was bloody stupid.

We could see at 2-2 that Arsenal were playing better and a change needed to happen, it was so predictable....

I'd like a legit reason why Toby diddnt play and our players played like we were away against a hostile team.
