Just to add, bad result and performance today but still a decent week beating Chelsea convincingly and getting over the line v Inter. Was always gonna be a tough ask to win all 3. Just wish we didn't ship 4 today.

I think we can all accept that it is possible to lose to Arsenal, as you say they are a decent team. What is annoying everyone is that a lot of what was wrong with today’s performance seems self inflicted. Foyth over Toby is just plain bizarre, and watching that second half and not sensing that we needed to change something is really poor management. We all love Poch, but it doesn’t mean he is above criticism
He chanted a lot especially between 1-0 and 2-1. Luck is a big partof football and that's what it came down to especially with the 2-2 goal, we'd looked comfortable till then

Good analysis but we havent played at home for 18 months and are still very competitive, Toby situation must be resolved I concur
Oh completely agree, not having a home has been massively detrimental. And it's easy to forget. Still, I feel like tacticaly we are all over the place. And i really feel some new signings would inject some much needed life into our squad, if nothing else. No home is no excuse for not buying a CM that we have need for two seasons. It's absolutely shocking we didn't strengthen that position. I guess we actually won't know anything until next season, which is frustrating as we could be starting it without Toby and, dare I say it, Eriksen if they don't sign an extensions.

Lloris has made mistakes all season. I still really like Lloris, but he’s nowhere near the player he once was.

I never mentioned Dele as an issue? He’s been one of our better players.

Foyth is not progressing. He’s nearly cost us points in three games this season through rash decisions.

Using Trippier’s performance at the WC to justify how AWFUL he has been for Spurs is very, very weak, mate.

Kane most certainly doesn’t have a back up in place, and leaving Winks, who is relatively inexperienced himself, as our only fit CM was dangerously stupid.

Still has 3 Assists this season. Remember most of our players have not had a preseason because of the World Cup Yet we are still Easily in contention for the top four. Arsenal Beat us at the emirates last season but look how the table ended. Relax!

Ye I agree but I mean him and foyth in the same team. We all know what aurier is like and can't help they situation but foyth instead of Toby?

That was an odd omission I must admit, I can only think that due to Toby playing alot of games recently and Jan back from injury poch wanted to rotate due to having nine games in December.

We all want to win trophies but finishing in the CL qualifying places is an achievement
I respect that people will see it as an achievement but I honestly don’t see the appeal in qualifying for a competition that we have absolutely no chance of ever winning in the current climate.

Honestly, if we didn’t need the top 4 to keep our players happy, I’d be delighted to jog that competition on and play in the EL because at least we have a good chance of winning it.

I'd like to know the reason. I always thought we'd lose this but I wanted us to atleast play our best team possible.

But trippier is a defender, and he’s misplaced 50 passes more than any other player in our squad.

There’s absolutely no doubting Trippier’s ability in terms of his crossing, but he’s an absolutely appalling defender.

Yes yes yes.

Cl is a pipe dream under our ownership. Keep chasing the dragon lads.

Personally I’m more bothered about the league cup game against them. Desperate to see us win something. Now I’ve seen us against Barca and Messi I’m bored of CL a bit, we are not going to win it so it’s hard to care. Its becoming a bit of an Arsenal loop, get top 4, get knocked out CL, fight to get top 4 so can get knocked out of CL.

Obviously it’s a necessity as it keeps players happy but I find it difficult to be hyped about fighting for top 4 now we’ve done it a few times. It’s not like it helps us attract players as we only spend what we earn anyway.

I am a little shell shocked by that second half to be honest
Back 4 were shocking 1 was as nearly always invisible
Foyth is probably still a little to green behind the gills for a game if that intensity
Aurier speechless absolute stinker imo
Great first half away against a team that have never been that fired up before and we came out 2nd like we didn't care I for one am baffled by it not sure we had a single shot on goal 2nd half ? Or created hardly any opportunities at all
Toby should have started maybe he could have given aurier a slap and knocked him back in to shape

We nearly won the PL two years ago, what progress have we made since then?
Have we got near it in the 49 years before that? Your argument is so flawed. What do you expect? Three teams have unlimited wealth. One team has 20 years on us. We are building a new Stadium to try and catch up. We can’t but success. It’s nit going to happen. So why get so fucking pissed that we lost today.

Toby can even play right back, Aurier was that bad I would have been happy to see that change. At least it would prove that Poch was seeing what we all saw

I hate to break this but Poch is a stubborn manager who believes in his system, style, formation, line-up, etc beyond reproach. This means that while others see issues he believes in his tactics and the ability of the players on the field to solve the problems.

This team has grown up a lot in recent years and he has improved with them, but his blind commitment to the starting line up and seeing out the game has not altered much. The Watford, PSV (A), Inter (A), Arsenal (A) and to a degree Wolves (A) have shown how we lack the real tactical nous to see out games comfortability. Even last week against Chelsea we were left scrambling when we should never have been in that situation.

It was always going to be a tough game when Arsenal could rest players in the Europa while we had to go for it against Inter. Their top players had a week to prepare for the NLD which is a huge advantage for any team let alone one as good as Arsenal.

This is one of those days where I wish a good journalist or commentator would ask serious questions of Poch. And not let him dodge the response or give a generic and cliched answer. Starting line up, playing from the back, lack of tactical changes, lack of subs, etc.

I love MP as a manager and coach, but left scratching my head today.

Why do we never do that to them? Even when we are far better like the last NLD at the Lane, we still only score two. Just would like to put them out of sight one day again.
