Except Emery blinked first and made two changes at half time. Are you suggesting Poch should have read his mind?

Don’t get me wrong I thought the formation was flawed BUT that formation forced Emery to take a big risk and make two half time changes.

The fault with Poch would be not reacting quicker. Not for not making changes while in a winning position surely?

Yes to be clear I meant early in the second half after Arsenal had changed their system...although despite the scoreline it was already clear out approach wasn't working...imho

First day of hannukah and this shit had to lead off the 2nd worst day of my life. First this fucking game and now I find out the love of my life has a boyfriend when this heartbreak could have fucking been avoided had i said 5 fucking simple word 5 years ago, be there in 5 minutes. Im 26. Single. No one even remotely prospective. 100% all my fault but still. Thanks for leading this one off, lads. Appreciate the help, Spurs:(
Mate, she wasn't the love of your life; she wasn't someone who you could trust. Imagine if this had happened if you had married her (apologies if the love of your life was not a woman). Trust me, I'm more than twice your age, you'll get over this and look back thankfully when you do settle down. And stop being so down on yourself: of course, it's natural at this time, but the sun will rise in the morning in the east.

People calling for Foyth to be loaned out? What the?

He clearly should not started but that is on Poch. I thought he defended okay, was just caught in possession a couple of times and his passing was sloppy and you'll get that with his lack of experience. However, there can be no excuses for Jan's performance and Dier's effort for the 4th goal. Dier should not be diving in for that ball at the edge of the box and the less I say about Jan's performance the better.

Aurier was all over the shop but he wasn't alone in defence. Thought he had turned a corner the last couple of weeks but that game was a reminder of his weaknesses.

Thought Son was lively and was our best with Sissoko slightly better than the rest. Kane was invisible bar the penalty.

You could tell that we were playing our third 'big' game in a week and with the injuries, squad rotations are down and its taking a toll. Arsenal looked fresher from the outset, we managed for 45 mins but they ramped it up after half time and we couldn't go with them.

I have a feeling there is perhaps still a little problem between Poch and Toby. Poch got a little ahead of himself, maybe even slightly arrogant, and thought, "...look how good we are, look at these rotations I can do now...". I think this had a bit to do with putting Toby in his place, even after all this time, he hasn't forgotten

It's often repeated but still true that a persons strength cam often be their weakness. Poch is stubborn, he clear
Y makes sure all know he is in charge and that can be his Achilles heel. Last Wednesday it was a joy to see the back four so organised with Toby and Jan yet it seems we were a shambles today (only watched MOTD) in a game we needed to be at our best in. In previous seasons others positions might be rotated but he kept our best centre back pairing together whenever he could. Once again in a big game we are all too easy to beat.

Foyth and Jan? 1 new starlet and another just came back from injury? That did us in.

I think poch is preparing for life without Toby.

Looking on the bright side, at least I enjoyed the half-time break.

Totally agree with this summary

Arsenal fans are getting very excited about this result. Bearing in mind they beat us there 2-0 last season and still finished 14 points behind.

Our next games in the prem:

Southampton (H)
Leicester (A)
Burnley (H)
Everton (A)
Bournemouth (H)
Wolves (H)
Cardiff (A)
Man United (H)
Fulham (A)
Watford (H)
Newcastle (H)
Leicester (H)
Burnley (A)

It will be all over by the end of this, we will finish above them again. Don’t panic.

I bloody hope you're right as that means 4 of our last 11 games include Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and City!

I must admit, I was pretty impressed by Arsenal. We were clearly tired. Yeah we can debate Poch tactics but we lost to the better fitter team. Don't think Poch is going to lose too much sleep over it. Onwards and upwards.

Going into the game the consensus was that we were the better team and as for fitness that's what happens when you don't have the depth to change things up and still get results, as for poch not losing too much sleep over it you should not be conceding 4 goals to your worst rival we have no excuses as a so called big club we compete in a number of competitions and so you have to be ready for them.
