We need to stop the crosses coming in. It was the same against anderlecht. Don't give them time to whip them in. Fullbacks, wingers or both need to close them down quicker.

He was player manager at rangers for a while, he must have won a lot then. Galatasaray?

Was Blackburn manager when they beat us in the League Cup; Liverpool manager when they won the FA Cup in '92...off the top of my head.

Pictures on Facebook of toilets smashed up and sinks ripped out of the wall at the Emirates, allegedly in retaliation for the sign incident before the league cup game. Any truth in that or is it just a load of bollocks?

And if true, what kind of moron does something like that? Add in the incident of something being thrown at Ozil and we could have problems. What is this, the fucking 70's?

Was at work during the game, but was fortunate enough to see Kane bury it. How did we play in general? We looked pretty good during the snippets I snuck on my phone.

We bossed it. But in all honesty I was happy with the draw. First half we dominated. Our pace, I know, and tactics had them floundering. We really should have ended it then. In the second half they came back but still there was only one winner. They looked utterly knackered and we really should have put the game to bed. But as in all derbies they came back. Lloris didn't do the best at their goal but he saved many of their chances when tbh they should have scored. We looked a bit lost aT defending set pieces.

We should have had the three points but watching us play was great.we looked the home side. And them cheering the Equalizer like it was their 5th says it all. We pretty much battered them. If we had another striker on we would have.

Best display we've had this season bar the Man City game. We really are benefiting from our fitness.

Small steps but there really could be something building at the lane.

Pretty damn good, I'd say! Controlled most of the game and had some chances to kill them off. Threats from them came mainly from the long ball or set piece played to Giroud's head! Walker nullified Sanchez for the most part and we just switched off for their goal.

Another strong performance without the points to show for it. Speaking as someone who was a bit skeptical that we could sustain a top 4 level challenge in the strongest Prem in history without a stronger summer transfer window, I have to say that the bones of this team are good enough to finish in the top 3 at the moment. As a huge fan and long time advocate of building around Dembele and Lamela, I'm hugely satisfied that they both are staking their claim in the side. The same thing goes for Vertonghen and Walker, who many people strangely thought would be cast aside by money ball squad signings with little to no top flight footballing experience.

It's going to be interesting to see how Son and Chadli get on once they are both fit. I suspect they'll both be impact substitutes, which would give us options for more directness with end product in matches like today.

All in all, a strong performance, but an unfortunate result.

I'm sorry. I still struggle to see Lamela's input.

He should be making and scoring goals. Not just running around a bit.

Clearly I just do not see it as 80% on here see him as the second coming of Hoddle and Bale combined

no agenda btw.

I would love to see him be that player.

I just think he gets a pass because he's Argentinean

4 goals (second most) and 3 assists (joint most) so far this season. He is being productive and maybe should've had an assist today when he slipped in Kane.

Good stuff. Like I said, I only saw brief snippets, but even in those brief moments I enjoyed watching us play. More than anything else, I'm just so pleased that Spurs are a joy to watch play football again. Of course, you also have to love seeing our young kids pushing around some of their veteran players. You're dead on, something wonderful seems to be in progress. So exciting to see such a young team going to the Emirates with no fear whatsoever and even taking it to them.

We were fantastic. We just didn't let Arsenal settle, one of their midfielders got the ball and they had 2 or 3 Spurs players right on top of them. Our pressing game is getting better but if I'm honest off the top of my head I can't remember us pressing as well as we did yesterday and for so long, on such a big pitch too. I don't even think it was a game of 2 halfs, for 70-75 minutes we were the much better side IMO. Arsenal only woke up in the last 15 minutes and had a small spell prior to that earlier in the 2nd half but we were very dominant. Looked like men against boys for a lot of it.

Are you good at percentages, Mustard? 80% think he's that good?

I don't think anyone sees him as that.
Alli, though... You might be onto something there.

Oh God please don't tell me we were using zonal marking.
Explains everything.
Its shit and doesn't work imo.
Has a zone ever scored a goal?
Not to my knowledge lol.

Some of the best teams in history have had success using zonal marking.

The only thing the scum got going was an aerial bombardment from set pieces, which was still a bit worrying

It was like playing against a scum team managed by Sam Allardyce
