It does all seem a bit odd that they've sacked Wenger now when there doesn't seem to be any decent candidates either willing or available.

If they hadn't had waited until Klopp and Pep were unavailable and sacked Wenger sooner then they wouldn't be in this mess.

Oh well :D

Its fucking weird, surely they wouldnt've got rid of Wenger without a replacement already lined up?
Stupid if they have.
Maybe its Conte?

I can definitely see Conte and the board getting on.
Im just struggling to see who it can be, its pretty funny if they've just sacked him and are running the gauntlet with their fingers crossed...they really could end up down shit street.

Let's face it, Tuchel already signed for PSG and Allegri ruled himself out of the job already so it's gonna be an apprentice, there's no money to spend at the moment and everyone can see what a massive job it's going to be to steady the ship and turnaround their form, I think they have really fucked themselves up personally.

I reckon Arteta will surprise a few but I can't see this supposed new DoF system working for them. Has it ever really worked for an English team? There's been so many more failures than successes. I don't think our football culture is suited to it.

And with such a welcoming, unentitled fanbase to appease as well...i cant see it being an apprentice personally.
I really thought they were going to get Tuchel so im pleased he's going to PSG.

So really could be the fella at Napoli, Emery, Enrique, Fat Sam or Moysie then?

Aubameyang signed because he thought Wenger was still going to be there for years.. must've been looking for a nice easy ride. He'll probably be shitting it at the thought of them getting some disciplinarian nutter in

There was a point in time that I was convinced Klopp would end up there and I think he'd have done better than he has so far at Liverpool.

Interestingly back in 2015 I suggested to one of my gooner pals that Arsene should go and they should get Pep while they can, he refuted, saying that Wenger is still the man. It's amazing that some of them were so blind to everything.
