I'd love it to play out like that this season, but we might want to wait 2 or 3 games before passing judgement. I mean, they were playing the best team in the league. It's not like they got spanked by the Spammers.

Man City should have stuffed them really. The only times arsenal really looked dangerous was when Man City gave the ball away after over playing in defence.

All summer their fans have been buoyed with enthusiasm for the new era, and most of the ones I know say they are dead certs for the top 4!.
I think after today and when their Europey League draw pulls out the likes of Dinamo Dustbins and Athletico Kebab the grim reality of how much work really needs to be done might start to sink in. Their defence looks fragile to me and surely Cech can't last much longer, and will have to move over for the new signing.

Yep I do worry about his mental state sometimes - its a bit early in the season to start blowing gaskets, but he is a decent guy and calls it like it is. A proper football man.

If Dick is gonna persist with playing the ball out from the back there's gonna be a lot of laughs on the way, the kid in midfield may have talent but it will surely take more time than they have patience to cultivate that. Not sure why Ramsey aint signed but that wont help either.

They need to simmer down a bit, the manager is trying to implement passing from the back and pressing. Thats going to make it a long season with maybe the odd high point similar to our first season under poch when our defending was a shambles.

Ozil though, I think hes lost his passion for football entirely, I think he has lost the desire, I felt it during the world cup, last season and now again the guy just is not the same person he used to be and I think this is just a money maker to him now. Wont be surprised if he ends up at fenerbeche soon.

Early days indeed but whilst we know that the defensive side of their game needs serious work it looked to me that their offensive game is suffering, they were bad going forward unlike Arsenal under Wenger at least they had movement and transitions.
