The end line :ROFLMAO: I'd be fuming if Levy put out a statement like that, it looks so small-time ending with a line about us. Worry about the state your club is in before thinking about us, mug.
Honest to god I'd never heard their 'famous club motto' before in my life.

Celtic are not being bullied into selling Tierney, unless it's on their terms, and with him being a Celtic lad through and through I can't see him forcing the move through either.

Reckon they'll be forced to pay over 30m

He could be giving up Champions League football for the Europa League. Celtic have their 1st qualifying round 2nd leg tomorrow night.

Fair price in my opinion. Hope they don't get him he's a good player

The allegation is that he's held back on transfer spending to keep the balance sheet looking as healthy as possible, and then used the club (Arsenal) as collateral to get the loans required to build this new billion dollar NFL stadium in LA.

How much truth there is in that I don't know, but that's what the accusation is anyway. It seems fairly plausible as well so could well be true.
Isn’t that what he did to buy out the club from Usmanov in the first place?

Think the Glazers used Man Utd as collateral against borrowings as well. Seems relatively common unless you're Abramovich, in which case the business plan is 'steal more oil and launder it through a football club'.

This is like the sort of statement Brady puts out at West Ham. We are so lucky to have Levy.

That last line is just a massively transparent way of getting the fans onside and trying to get the fans to concentrate on hating us and not the Kroenkes.

I don't get why anyone would feel sorry for them. They might not be doing as well as they were when they were challenging for the league title, but they're still a top six Premier league side with one of the largest stadiums in Europe. Most clubs would love to be in their position. If they were to get relegated, or went into receivership I'd probably feel some sympathy then, but not because they might become a mid-table Premier League side for a few seasons.

Sums it up for me, saying we're going for very expensive signings is so weak and it's not a bragging point, you want your club to getting the most value for money, Even our big signing Ndombele, we are far happier we knocked 20 mill off the asking fee, it shouldn't be a point of pride. Obviously he's been fed the line from Kroenke but it sums up for me why they are in the mess they are, having players on large contracts and not being able to sell players to generate funds.

I wouldn't feel any sympathy if they were relegated or went into receivership, just as they wouldn't feel any sympathy if either or both of those things happened to us. I'd celebrate if they got relegated, and worry if they went into receivership. Why worry? If a club with their wealth can reach that point, it can happen to any club, and would serve as a very stark warning to the rest of us.

"May North London forever be red..."

Hahaha. The fact that's an official statement from the club is the epitome of small club mentality. Embarrassing to say the least.

It's like the summer WHAM announced they wanted a £20m striker, rather than a 20 goal a season striker. Reeks of small time.

Yeah you're focusing on what you think the fans want to hear not what is important.
