IMO Wenger signed his new contract some time ago but was waiting on their annual upsurge to then announce it. Without the results, they're now using their usual media friendlies (John Cross and Jeremy Wilson) to do a PR bit around wholesale changes in their playing and backroom staff. If you look, their two articles are nearly identical. Clearly fed by their club.

Whoever is the manager at Arsenal, huge changes are needed.

- Their british core all underperforming and nearing the end of their contracts,
- Their two star players wanting away and nearing end of their contracts
- Petr Cech and Koscielny are past their peak
- Mustafi and Xhaka have proven to be expensive failures.
- Some comical civil war among their fanbase with them routinely fighting each other in the stands (latte's being spilled everywhere apparently).

Oh, and their north London rivals have got their act together and competing. I honestly believe they're harder on Wenger because every weekend they don't have us to laugh at.

I've always wanted a bomb wiping out Arsenal from the map but this is far better. They're imploding.
pretty sure if it was already signed they HAVE to announce it straight away.
I think its all agreed, as good as signed nonetheless.

That's because some would have us believe he didn't cost £30 million, but has so far only cost £5/6 million because of instalments etc.

I'm pretty sure that as long as Levy kept the receipt, he can take him back to his local Sports Direct store for a £30m credit note ;)

If arsenal fail to qualify for europe next season, then they may have a free run at the league, That squad only playing 38 games will be guaranteed top 4 again, and maybe even a shot at the title. Fuck, bit of a double edged sword.
I doubt it would make a difference. That team has issues with mentality, not fitness.

Apparently the Arsenal shop are launching a new aftershave which is meant to encapsulate the scent of Arsenal. It's called Brownwater.

I really want us to totally stuff them when they come to WHL post Wenger signing his new contract.

I have been pretty indifferent to them in recent years but things like Arsenalfan TV and the clowns on that (although Heavy D seems to have gone missing), flying planes over the ground, the Pirate etc just makes them seem like such a joke of a club. Literally comical.

But we really need to beat them as well as come above them to legitimise the mocking of them

I have to say that the interviewer on Arsenal Fan TV does quite well to remain calm and take the whole thing seriously. I don't think I could take more than about three seconds of that man shouting "blud! fam!" In my face.

You just know that he's thinking, 'every blud makes me £20, keep on going, you're lining my pockets.'

Arse are actually gauranteed Europa League next season, because of the FA cup. As long as Us, City, and cheatski, make top 4.

Everton can still catch and pass them
I don't think it matters, Arse will still be in the europa because of the teams still left in the FA cup. us city and chelsea all in CL. There has to be a team from the FA cup, go into the europa, is it not nailed on that place is arsenals, and arsenals only. i may be wrong.

If any of Spurs, City or Chelsea win the FA Cup then the Europa League place will just open up to whoever finishes outside the top four and has not won a trophy so Everton can still qualify via the league.

Qualification for EL is as follows:
Group Stage - FA Cup winners - If the FA Cup winner qualifies for the UEFA Champions League or the UEFA Europa League via the domestic championship, by Regulation 3.04,[2] the highest ranking non-qualified league club qualifies, taking the lowest Europa League spot (the League Cup spot – the League Cup inherits the League spot, and the League inherits the FA Cup spot).

Final Play-Off Round - Club finishing 5th in the Premier League - If the fifth-placed club has already qualified for Europe through the FA Cup, then the next-highest Premier League finishers get this place

Third qualifying round - League Cup - If the League Cup winners have already qualified for Europe by a high Premier League finish, then the next highest-finishing Premier League club gets this place.

Basically, if us, Chelsea or City win the FA Cup and finish in top 4, then 5th place in the league gets that EL spot. If Arsenal win the FA Cup and finish 5th, then 6th place in PL gets a spot.
If Man Utd finish in top 5, then there's also an extra place as they won the League Cup, so 7th place in PL could go into EL.
So as it stands, even in their poor current form, it's pretty certain Arsenal will be in some form of European competition next season.

As Flav from the Fighting Cock says on the Ball St YouTube channel, all those muppets are paying for his wife's new kitchen, so no wonder he's calm as fuck...

Asked for an update on Sanchez's injured ankle, Wenger responded 'I don't know because he left for Chile'.

LOL. You can't make it up. What a shambles.
